Why do so many guys get grossed out if a lady has pubic hair? It's natural and how a woman should look. Not bare like a little girl. I have shaved down there before and can't stand the itchiness & prickly hairs the day after shaving. What's wrong with a lady looking like a proper woman with hair? I find it gross how so many guys want no hair. It's like they are attracted to children's genitalia.

So let me get this straight, because you don't like shaving your pubes that means every guy that prefers a girl to shave is a pedophile? So your trying to say that if a girl is 5'8" tall with 34dd breasts but shaves her pubes she looks like a small child?

I do give you some credit that you have tried it and didn't like it but what gives you the right to say that a lady only looks like a proper woman with hair and that all men who like shaven are pedophiles?

I'm not trying to start an argument with you but as I'm sure you have gathered your comments have annoyed me, I would be very grateful if you would answer the above questions to clear a few things up.

No I don't care if people shave if they prefur it, I even did it myself. I'm just saying why do guys get so grossed out by a natural looking woman? a lot of them seem to think it's revolting and dirty if you have hair there. In my oppinion if you can't stand the look, or feel of a natural looking woman then you have no respect and shouldn't be having sex in the first place. In my case I have tryed shaving and it dosnt feel nice for me. But I don't want men to think I'm dirty or gross because of it.

Because the media tells them to like unhairy women. Don't let anyone tell you sexual attraction is not influenced by the media standard. Look up 1940's pin-up pictures of women. They're totally different from beauty standards today.

The first woman I dated didn't shave her legs. I was grossed out by it at first. Over a period of time I grew to absolutely love it and now I love women who don't shave legs as well. It was my first understanding that beauty standards had been very conditioned in me.

Playboy used to be full of hairy women, from trimmed to completely untouched by scissors. I still love seeing some of the old pictures from then.

Can't agree more! I do trim but I leave a lot of bush, just keep it neat and have never had a guy open my jeans, pull them down, see the bush and run away!

I shave almost every day so it's never itchy. I always keep my labia shaved and sometimes keep a two inch wide landing strip above the labia to as high as my pubes grow. The variety is nice for both of us.

Well, not sure about the last comment, but I prefer women with pubic hair. I really don't mind whether it is completely as God intended or shaved/ styled in some way. I have no experience of someone completely shaved so really can't say with certainty but somehow it doesn't seem quite right to me. Just my opinion though. I'm certainly not grossed out by pubic hair though. After all, men have enough of it and I have no intention of shaving it off!

How do you keep yours hairless without the ichiness, prickly hair ect. I would have to shave everyday to have it smooth, but my skin dosnt agree with it and comes out in bumps. which I think is uglier then hair. I know there is waxing, but that must hurt! and I don't want a stranger to see my private area!

I get waxed. It hurt a bit the first time and then less and less. I barely even feel anything now. The stranger thing felt weird to me at first, but then my friend said that it was like going to the doctor and I just thought of it that way. It wasn't weird after a couple times. I've gotten to be very friendly with the girl who does me. She's really sweet though. I think I would have a problem going to someone I didn't like.

Why would it smell if she keeps herself clean by washing? I think mine looked unattractive when I did shave. Because it got razor burn and it was very ichy. I also don't think prickly hair feels nice, or is attractive, and that happend within a day of shaving! the hair grows back super fast.

It's OK with me, as long as it does not scratch or smell if I go down on you. This is the main reason why some men like it shaved.

It's not the childlike appearance that's attractive. It's being able to see it I think. But much more than that for me, is when it's shaved I can go down on a girl without feeling like I'm licking the top of her head. A mouthful of hair is a huge turnoff.

Razor burn would be a turnoff, but I rarely see it. Or if I do it's not very bad and so it's not much of a turn off. I never stop to ask if they wax to avoid it or if not what their shaving methods are so I can't tell you how to avoid it. As for the prickly hairs, better to be scratched a little than chewing on pubic hair. That's my opinion anyway, other guys may feel differently.

Two posts up brings up a good point that I haven't mentioned. I don't like my own pubic hair either and don't think a woman should have to deal with it and trim it regularly. I used to shave but the opinions of the women around here seem to favor trimmed over shaved so I do what they like.A

It is the age. Women did not begin shaving their pubes until the 90s and it took a while to catch on. What did men do prior? They had sex with women with natural pubes, hairy bushes. All the male adult magazines (more online now) are predominantly shaved; thus, they find it most "normal."

I prefer it natural both from a visual and for sex.

It's not that big of a deal if a girl has hair down there. I mean I know it's natural and would definitely not stop me from going down on her. But if she's completely shaven then that's a plus, cuz I get pure skin.

It's alright though, just trim every once in a while to make it look nice. It's always good to groom.
