Renaming the "doggy-style" position?? Can we please come up with something less demeaning?

the question says it all. The position feels AMAZING! but I am not talking about rough pig sex. I don't want a position that sounds like uncontrollable vapid thrusting! I want something that is rough, but sweet. Hardcore but also romantic. The position I am describing - girls on all fours (yes like a dog) but with her back arched maybe on her elbows with her head buried in the bed, and the guy behind her erect and majestic (lol). What can we call this? I had one person suggest leapfrog .. but I don't think it did it justice.

you couldn't be more wrong... this website isn't for "winning" over women. I am asking because my ex loved doggy but I always felt so odd talking about it. I felt that the name didn't fit. And other positions we had done had much less demeaning names like the manjo tree or reverse cowgirl. The act of sex isn't degrading and If both people enjoy it it isn't degrading at all. Also - thx for the news but trust me we had times where it was rough.. but not always.

The missionary position according to Kinsey was formed by Malinowski (someone I have studied in the past) with reference to his "enthography" Apparently the Trobriand islanders mocked the position and even though a vast majority were not missionaries it was during the time of the white mans burden and colonial missions - Hence the name.. hmm interesting. Doggy style needs something so sophisticated!

That position is supposed to be rough and animalistic and not all that passionate

The name is taken from watching animals have sex and somebofy just used the dog for a word

and it can be very animalistic but sometimes just for romantic sex I like to use "doggy" and it isn't animalistic. It is sweet, and passionate. It is just such an amazing position. Definitely needs a a better name.
