I love rough sex but not like being hurt, just a little pain it's fine, but yes, a little submission and being dominated is hot, not humiliated though. In my case, I like hard and fast sex, hair pulling, like the guy restraining my hands and some positions that you mentioned in your question are my favorite, I also love dirty talking and having my hands tied and having to ask for more.
I don't like extreme stuff, so most of my boyfriends (since I discovered I like it that way) are pretty much into me being dominated by them and yes, I have told them, some before having sex with them, like I always ask what they like and stuff and tell them what I like (I recommend it) and some like during sex I feel like telling them to f*** me harder and that I like it rough and stuff like that and they actually do, and really feel they have enjoyed it as much as I did.
You know, in real life I'm a very dominant person, so they usually tell me they're surprised by me like to being dominated during sex (I actually think it makes sense haha)
Also, I had this guy I dated briefly being completely turned off by the idea of f***ing me hard, but I didn't care, his loss haha.
About your last question, I don't know like in general but majority of my friends don't like rough sex that much, or at least are not that open about talking about it.
How would you react at a girl telling you to f*** her hard or that she likes it rough and stuff?0 1 0 0Choking someone until they almost pass out is beyond both rough sex and S&M into just plain dangerous.
Seriously, if you're going to start going that far for goodness sake use a safe word! And some sense about how dangerous things are!
As for the rest, does it really matter what it's called?
If you both like it, it's fine. If one of you doesn't (or it's dangerous) it's not. Simple as that, you don't need to put a label on it.
The only real difference between rough sex and S&M is that, in the former, people are equal whereas in the latter one takes control.0 0 0 0Thanks safeword next time for sure!
There's nothing wrong with either of these things. Just make sure that you don't do something that could cause lasting harm. Choking is very dangerous, and can leave lasting damage to your brain and lungs. I would tone it down a bit in that department.

There's a significant overlap.
Did you have a good time?
And be careful with the breath stuff. Riskier then you may think.1 0 0 0Yes I had a good time but when I woke up this morning and saw hand prints on my neck I was a little pissed!
Bodily harm is S&M. A combination of pain and pleasure.
0 0 0 0I like the combo of pain/pleasure!
Absolutely nothing wrong with that.

3 0i like extremely rough s&m
0 0 0 0I like it pretty rough. My ex and I played out rape fantasies all the time. I ended up with some bruising, and would bleed a little sometimes, but nothing permanent and nothing that needed a bandaid or anything. He was very good at judging how rough to be without being too rough, and he ended up with some bruising and bite marks himself, hehe.
