I don't think that you can determine fertility based on those characteristics of semen. If it were that simple, men seeking to find out about their virility would not need lab work done. The fact of the matter it does depend on the guy and not just the guy but other factors as well, including the last time he ejaculated and how much semen has built up inside of him. There is likely no way to determine the quality of sperm through at glance examination of semen. Sperm is only but a tiny but of what is present in the ejaculate.
So how is it supposed to look?
White and liquid, it doesn't depend on the guy it depends on many more factors than that. Stimulation, hormone levels, and diet can all affect the way ejaculate can look. With me for example sometimes its really runny sometimes its thick, sometimes its warm sometimes its not, sometimes it smells more potent than other times. But as long as its white and is a liquid its normal.
Also you can NOT tell how fertile he is by any of the ways you said, the "white stuff" comes from the prostate gland not from his testicles. The only way for him to find out if he is fertile or not is to got to the doctor and get tested, well other than seeing if you get preggo or not.
If you get really aroused, and have a long session of horniness and foreplay usually the load will be greater in volume, and somewhat thinner and maybe even a little clear. In general though, the thick sticky gooey variety is better for getting pregnant. It sticks to your cervix and stays inside you better, and gives the little wiggly guys a better start than the thin runny kind does.
I don't think there is any way to judge a sperm count by just looking at a puddle of semen, though.
the taste of semen can very according to the males diet. as for texture and appearance, they are strictly based on a person's genetics. you can't tel whether a man is fertile or not by the taste appearance or texture. that can only be decided if the semen was to be sent to a lab. they could then give you a sperm count.
yea you can. if it like real thick and dark white the male has more fertile semen. if its thin and liquidy it could be that he could not have kids or has a very low semen account as do some males.
Well it was the guy with the thick come that said he couldn't. Not sure about that. I've had a vasectomy and it looks and has the same texture before and after. I think it has more to do with how long you've been horny without release.
That's a good question, I'm not sure...I think if the man hasn't ejaculated for a while, it can be pretty thick...as far as color goes...like an off white or cream color? lol

When first ejaculated, semen is quite fluid. It then somewhat becomes more sticky and viscous. It has nothing to do with fertility but rather the nature of semen.
Texture can vary widely between guys. Only a fertility test can determine if he can have kids.
