Sensitive head during oral sex?

I've read that the penis head is very sensitive, so during oral, a girl should give it a lot of attention. With my guy, however, he's mentioned before that if I run my tongue against him there, it gives him a weird "shock" kind of feeling that he doesn't seem to like. A few nights ago, I was giving him head and decided to try again. I licked him right on the head, and he, after a while, asked me to try something different. So I've learned finally that he is simply not a fan, but I was wondering if this is normal? To be so sensitive that he doesn't like to be licked across his tip? Is this just a "everyone's different" kind of common thing, or could this be a medical issue? =/ Thanks all.

  • Hi there. Not a medical issue, the tip IS very sensitive. I'm sure it varies by the guy but if my wife runs her tongue over the tip of my penis with any kind of force, it gives me that same "shock" feeling (good way to describe it, actually). If I'm lying down, it can make my torso come off a bed a few inches the feeling is so intense. She only does it every now and again to change things up (or get my attention) or it would start to get really uncomfortable.

It's best to stick to the shaft and underside of the head - the frenulum area. That feels really good to me and doesn't create the super-intense shock feeling. Have fun!

  • Everyone is different and skin sensitivity is different on everyone. Over time the skin on the penis toughens and becomes less sensitive in different places on different guys. His could be extremely sensitive there and it would be as if he took his rough and dry finger and rubbed it across your clitoris. It just prob doesn't feel great for him.

I seriously doubt anything medical. Try something else and play the game of what "does" feel good to him?

  • I've heard that uncircumcised penises are more sensitive.

    It's probably an individual thing.
