Just a curiosity question. I know that girls have this huge urge to cuddle or spoon right after they have sex with their guy...but what about you guys? Do you feel a strong urge to cuddle and hug and spoon with your girl when you have finished the deed...or do you just cuddle because "she" wants to? ^.^

I really enjoy cuddling after sex, even just for the heck of it sometimes. I like spending time with my girlfriend. Sometimes, we talk about personal or intellectual topics and sometimes, we just lay together silently, enjoying each others' company. Overall, it's relaxing, peaceful and enjoyable. I like all three of those feelings. Therefore, why wouldn't I enjoy cuddling with the love of my life? Contrary to what Hollywood may have told you, most guys do enjoy cuddling.

There's no reason for it, or so I don't see it. I mean, I'll hug a child but someone who is my age or up.. No.. Unless, I have a good reason too. I actually found that I really like this and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

I used to get done and out of the bedroom as soon as possible because of sort of an embarrassment thing. Especially because when men have an orgasm, our libido just goes way down and we almost feel guilty about what we just did. But as I got more comfortable with my Girlfriend at the time, it soon became a regular thing for us to just cuddle naked after sex and sometimes fall a sleep for an hour or two.

Just to add something, and jmr2191 already sort of touched on this. It's actually proven that guys require cuddling more than women. We're just taught its not masculine so on the surface we tell our guys friends and stuff that we hate it. Women connect to their partners via conversation, men connect via physical contact and closeness (i.e. sex, cuddling, sitting next to each other, holding hands, etc.)

That makes sense...I feel like guys don't have it as easy in that they can't just ask for a hug from anyone...anytime..anywhere...lol...they can't be as open or aren't as open about embraces and sensitive stuff like girls are/can be...so it makes sense that they'd want more of the cuddling..since it's lacking more. =) Cool fact. I know...I think it can be really unfair sometimes. Guys seem to have it harder than people actually say. We are always feeling sorry for girls and stuff...but no one seems to stand up for guys at times. Girls can get a shoulder to cry on when things get rough...yet guys don't always have that. And let's face it...you can't be tough all the time. tsk tsk.

I say this all the time, and girls always argue with me and claim they have it harder. I wish more girls were sensitive to what you just said, and either cut us some slack or respected the struggles that males go through as well, instead trivializing our problems like they don't exist. Some girls do agree that women have it easier (generally speaking), but quite a few don't agree. But hey, its a biased argument so what do you expect.

Yep that's true. I feel that guys and women have a lot of problems and it's hard for both but no one has more problems than the other. Guys have it harder in that they can't be seen as weak or lost or else it's challenging their masculinity. But girls have it harder in that they are expected to make everyone happy but no one ever is...like for example the mother is always the bad guy..the one that everyone has a problem with..the one that has to put her life on hold for everyone..men don't have..

..to do that...if they want to change states or countries for a job...they can...women = not so much. Some guys feel threatened by independent and touch women that can do their own thing...therefore girls like that can sometimes have trouble being with a guy because guys are insecure about tough girls. Women are put under more scrutiny about their bodies and how they dress and etc...guys not so much. ..Guys have to worry about being masculine enough...girls don't. So it goes both ways.
