hmmm, I'm 6'2 and my girl is 5'3 like you, and we can get it done doggystyle. maybe try experimenting with having your knees closer together to elevate yourself a bit, and he could have his wider. don't give up on it just yet. maybe go into sex one time expecting it to be goofy and for him to go soft from too many interruptions and awkwardness, haha, and just try it til you get it.
in the meantime, I'm a big fan of the spoon. he can adjust himself to line up with you as needed, and you still get the rear penetration angle/depth. also easily transitions to other positions, even without withdrawing. like I can start in the spoon, usually I pick her top leg up eventually, then I almost just naturally slide to a perpendicular angle (like an upside-down T) where she's on her back now but I'm still on my side. then I can move myself into missionary, from there I can almost play her legs like the hands of clock: her right leg over my right shoulder, then both over my right shoulder, then one over each shoulder, to both over my left shoulder, then just to her on her side and me still in the same position. then she can roll onto her stomach and I can go from behind, then she can shift herself up into doggystyle. it works, trust me.

You can kneel on a pillow or cushion to get enough elevation for doggy, or you can kneel on the edge or corner of the bed and he can stand behind you. Plenty of ways to make it work if you try. He can also bend you over the arm of a couch or padded chair, or have you on your back the same way.
You can put your arms around his neck and he can pick you up with his arms under your knees and do you standing up (my girl LOVES that).

Again, don't be afraid to get a pillow or cushion to put under your knees or ass to give you some additional height; that can turn a difficult position into a fantastic one. If you have the cash, they even make "sex wedges" which are wedge-shaped cushions that you can do all kinds of cool stuff with.
