Sex with hot stranger? Or sex with average friend?

Ok ladies, here is the scenario. You are single with no man. It's a Friday/Saturday evening and for some strange reason, your sex drive is in afterburner(according to women, this does not happen often at all). Time for a booty call, a 1-night-stand. We will assume that you cannot get pregnant and disease is not a factor otherwise they will create a whole new argument. You consider the options: A, you must have a guy you are a attracted to but with a stranger, you might find a wacko or worse when you go to the clubs or elsewhere. You really want a great looking man but if you go all the way with one, you might become attached which is what you don't want to do. You have your reasons why not. B, you know some guys who are available NOW. But they lack all the requirements needed to gain your interest other than they are nice guys. You can talk to them and they will understand this is a fast fling. But they just are not handsome enough, too old or whatever. But you know what to expect with them. C, You say the hell with it and do nothing because your morals and religion forbids it. Men are pigs anyway but DAMN! This sex drive is as bad as ever. Have at it ladies, let your opinions and decisions be known! Guys, may as well add in. Hot chick with difficulties getting one? Or an average woman you know now?

    No, silly, 55% (right now) of the women WHO ANSWERED YOUR POLL would not have a one-night stand just because they were horny. 55% of the 9 women who belong to this site and voluntarily submitted their answers. I don't know how much you know about statistics, but that is NOT a reliable sample size to judge the feelings of the whole population. That doesn't mean all those women would rather masturbate than have sex with a man they were in a relationship with. It just means that they don't necessarily go for one-night stands. While they might satisfy our physical desires, they leave us emotionally drained.

    Women can't look at sex as casually as men can. It's an evolutionary thing. If a man has sex with 10,000 women in a nine-month period, he can theoretically pass his genes on to 10,000 children (discounting twins), to whom he has no commitment outside the legal system. A woman, on the other hand, can sleep with 10,000 men in a 9-month period and can still only pass on her genes to one child, to whom she must make a major commitment in pregnancy, lactation, and raising to adulthood. A man can swan off and let his partner deal with the consequences of sex. A woman can't. Yes, in this day and age there are contraceptive methods to give a woman more equality in this respect, but that doesn't undo millions of years of evolutionary instinct.

    Also, just relieving the desire through masturbation is just plain easier than going and finding a guy. *shrug*

    You get WAY too down on yourself, and if I may be so bold, I think that's a large part of why you seem to have so much trouble getting women to like you and/or have sex with you. Bitterness, self-deprecation, and a general distrust of women are NOT sexy.

On a more serious note, a man gets bitter and angry when millions of women won't have anything to do with him because he's short, older, not rich, a man, opposite race and so on. Can you blame me?     • I exaggerated the numbers to make my point. Even the richest kings in history probably didn't have harems that large! LOL. And, look, I'm gonna be completely honest with you. My best friend's boyfriend is older, short, poor (he's a grad student), kind of fat. Okay, he's white, but still. She loves him because he is a sweet, kind, gentlemanly, wonderful guy. There's got to be some other reason women are rejecting you. Surely there's something in your life you can find to be cheerful about?

  • I picked D, because, well, that's how I roll. Honestly, I've had days when my sex drive is through the roof, but if I just don't think about it and put my mind on something else, eventually it goes away harmlessly. From what I've heard, it sounds like my technique wouldn't really work for guys that well, but it works for me.

    BUT, if I were going to have a one-night stand, I would not have it with a friend, and here is why: sex changes relationships. Even if I think the guy is a great and wonderful person, and even if we go into it thinking that it's just one night and it's never going to be more, it will change things for us. We will each have seen the other person at their most vulnerable. I've seen it happen so many times. Someone has a fling with a friend or starts up a FWB relationship, and they can't go back to what it was. They either end up dating (and usually breaking up messily) or they stop having sex AND stop being friends. I wouldn't reject the idea of a fling with a friend because he's just "average," it would be because it wouldn't be worth losing a friendship over a desire I could satisfy with my own hand if need be.

    I wouldn't pick the nice boring guy cause obviously he does not arouse me. I wouldn't risk making an awkward connection with a guy just to have boring sex. Perhaps this is because I would feel like at a future time, if I were in a social situation with him, I would have to relate to him in a sexual way to keep him on my good side.

    I would perhaps pick the hot stranger, only if I were extremely attracted to him, as opposed to him being very attractive in general, but yet not my type (picky). And then, if I happened to find a guy I was so very attracted to, I would try to lure him into seeing me again. I am not sexually interested in most men I see, so if I were to find someone, I would need to snag him up.

    However, the chances of me finding a guy I am very attracted to on the same night that I am uncontrollably horny is very unlikely, so I would therefore opt to do nothing.

    • The way I understand your statement, you are saying that an average looking nice guy you know would be a boring lay. How so? Average looking guys could be the greatest sexual pleasure in your life. Never can tell until the clothes come off...or you heard from friends that he sucks in bed.
