Should I tell my boyfriend my period is late?

My boyfriend and I have been going out for 9 months. I am on the pill but I took two late. I'm just over a week late on my period. I don't want to worry him for nothing because I've been under a huge amount of stress lately and it's happened before where I was two weeks late and not preggo. Should I tell him or keep it to myself? I am also kind of panicking.

First of all, if your period is a week late, a home test should be pretty accurate by now. I'd recommend taking one as soon as possible, so that you can stop wondering.

If I had a pregnancy scare, I'd definitely tell my boyfriend, because I'd want his support, and I know he'd want to be there for me. However, it's up to you to decide whether or not you want to tell him. It's not something someone else can decide for you.

If you are very close to your boyfriend, tell him. My boyfriend is my best friend, and just telling him about something like that will make ME feel better and less stressed out. Together you two can support each other. I highly recommend taking a pregnancy test.

i think you should. if you are late and you might be pregnant then you should tell your boyfriend about it. that's what i would do you know like if something like this happened to me.

Don't tell him until you know for sure. I'd do a test and see what happens. Tell him only if it's positive.

@samhradh_leannan oh yeah, I've done that but never right after sex. Depending on how long she's been on the pill, It could still be in her system. I've read that when you want to get pregnant go off the pill three months prior

I think it depends on the relationship and how close you are. If I was a week late I would be dong a test by now. Maybe buy the test and let him know that you are late and going to do the test?
