The extra emphasis on policing teen girls’ sexuality over teen boys’ is illogical and impractical.

We’ve all heard the justification for extra emphasis on controlling women’s sexuality. Something like:

”With a boy you only have to worry about one dick. With a girl you have to worry about ALL of them.”

But, the logical fact is that a woman can only get pregnant approximately once a year, whereas a man can theoretically impregnate infinite women. Or realistically, father multiple children around the same time.

So, in fact, teach your teen sons to be responsible sexually as well. It’s not all on the burden of the female or even factually “more her problem.”

Let’s teach all of our children to take sex seriously and be safe!

What Girls & Guys Said

  • I like the first quote! It's all about having to consider a baby of our own. One just has to be completely mentally ready for parenthood or, at least, think you are ready if you are to entering into parenting with a good mind.

  • The logical fact is that a boy can't sleep with all those girls, because that's not how the real world works. Girls can sleep with as many as their hearts desire. Well I take that back, 1 boy in the school can have sex with plenty of girls, ALL girls can have sex with all the boys.

Sons should be taught to be responsible, but since 3/4 of them are sexless or haven't had sex in a year - teaching girls need to take priority. The mass majority of women are having sex with the same 6 or 7 guys, girls need to be taught to be responsible, because which boys are most likely to have an STD? It's the boys that every girl likes, that every girl sleeps with. It's common sense.
