US women - overinflated egos?

The past few girls I've dated, date and sleeps with all alpha men, causing her to think they're hotter than they really are. in the current sexual marketplace, we have 5s and 6s sleeping with male 8s and 9s. She thinks if she gets to sleep with some of these men, she should ALWAYS have them and can’t understand why she can’t get them to commit. And there is no way she’ll stoop to dating a male 5 or 6 because she can “do better”. Do you think it hurts women in the long run because they think they're marriage material but to the guy they're just a good lay?

I wouldn't phrase it the way you did.

But women can always 'trade up' by dropping the requirement for monogamy. For men it doesn't work that way - typically men have to 'trade down' to get nsa sex. Most men who have affairs have them with women who they themselves describe as less attractive then their wives, by contrast, women more often have affairs with men who have a higher status then their husbands. This is simply human nature. From an evolutionary perspective, women have nothing to gain by having sex outside their relationship with a 'less desirable' partner. They only benefit if they are getting 'better' genes then their partner. Males benefit from every extra partner.

Coming back to your question, yes, I have seen young women who are having f-buddies etc with guys who are out of their -dating- league. I have known some women who 'partied' with really rich guys. They weren't even long standing fwb. These guys would never settle down with these girls. In 3 or 4 years, they'll replace them with new, younger models, and if they get married, it will either be to a traditional girl, or to one who is as well off as them. The girls who think they are just 'having fun' and will settle down later when the guys do may indeed be deluded by the fact that they can 'party' or sleep with guys who would not actually commit to a monogamous relationship with them. This kind of crashes into the ground around 30, when those guys don't even want to party with them any more (they want to party with 23 year olds) and the guys they were turning down for dates are now either married, or no longer interested (since those guys are probably now earning more, etc, and can date younger). So things change pretty dramatically for women like that when they hit 30 or so.

I feel bad for them to be honest. Its easy as a guy to be bitter and feel they deserve it, but really, its just nature being a bitch, as usual.

The problem is that more often than not these people don't just find someone else, they get pregnant. So then the stupid people feel they have to get married or they just have a kid and the one who really gets screwed is the kid -_-

I agree many US women have overinflated egos. But it's understandable once you see the crap they watch on TV and read in magazines. They see stupid girls having easy lives (think playboy models) and money from the dudes they are with and they aspire to that.

But, lots of US guys are brainless party dudes with as much IQ as a 5 year old spoiled child.The sense of entitlement is cultural, they have been raised that way. Go on campuses across US and see what most American kids 'study' and how they are petted on the back for succeeding tying their shoes all by themselves. Most higher level degrees are dominated by foreigners or second generation Americans (chinese, indians etc...).

There are still sane American people who work hard not just to make money but create new things and move the country forward. But they are the minority now. The rest has been rotten by a culture of oversized pride and laziness. Ask them how many people live in their own country, most even don't know that. They are very far removed from the real world because they have been spoiled and isolated since they were kids.

It's sad because the US were a phenomenal country with a real culture of hard work, freedom and creativity. Now it's just extreme individualism and beliefs they can just sit on their asses and that their greatness will perpetuate because it's who they are, the best, by definition. Nope, you were the best because lots and lots of your American predecessors busted their asses really hard. Most young kids are now fat and clueless, it's ridiculous how lazy and stupid they have become. Sad.

I think the culture of borrowing and greed is the first problem. It's easy to be lazy when you spend someone else's money, be a person or the government. I see kids these days driving luxury cars and they are not even old enough to drink. Everything is too easy and being paid with parents money, loans or credit cards. Government has spent more than it earns for ever. Even the banks were being rescued by a broke government. Nothing makes any sense. But it's a very dangerous addictive behavior...

yes, every girl's dream is to get married no matter what they may say, they have planned out numerous times how their wedding will be. some girls will think once they've had it good they should have that possibilty again, child-like I know. Females like to show off their mates, like how males like to show off their athletic or academic ability, it is a very primitve idea that continues today. Those girls who think they are better than they are will not get very far with this idea in their head, they will eventually wise up, and hopefully soon. I hope that can be of some explanation

i respect your opinion ,Dominique, but this is how I see things. you may say that you don't want to get married and there's nothing wrong with that I respect that, but no one "needs to get married," I never stated that females have the need to. I'm sure when you 3-10 years of age you might have thought about it once or twice, you can't say you've never have because you might not remember.

There is some truth to what this guy is saying. The good looking male friends I have are players and do sleep with a lot of women. I asked one if he'd marry any of the women he shags and he laughed and said "why buy it if I can test drive and let some other sucker buy it?" Kind of harsh, but its true. The rich and good looking men don't need to commit to get sex, and the mediocre women reduce their own value and have unrealistic expectations by allowing themselves to be used in that way

Don't see how you can say I lack empirical data goflipaburger, these conclusions are based on my own meandering experiences, true... but I also don't have 100's of women to average a demographic, just a couple dozen. It's a theory of mine, I didn't say it's %100 true for all women.
