WARNING: Extremely Graphic Video - Lana Del Rey Gets Raped

NSFW: Watch with Caution

Everything about this leaked video is extremely creepy, but without a doubt, the creepiest thing about it is the scene in which Lana Del Rey is raped. Watch it now, but be warned - this is very graphic.

Never Meant to Be Seen?

The video's director, Eli Roth, has described the footage as "so sick, it is being kept in a vault." However, the video was leaked after it was allegedly released by production house, Sturmgruppe.

After the leak, Marilyn Manson's representative quickly stepped in to deny any allegations of his involvement with the film. His representatives claim that the video, "must be a fan video splicing up old footage with someone else's old Lana Del Rey footage."

Is this Art?

Some people are arguing that the portrayal of Lana Del Rey being raped is artistic. Many are claiming that while the scene is extremely vulgar and rough, it does a beautiful job of showing what rape really looks like.

Or, A Publicity Stunt?

Others are arguing that this leaked video is nothing more than a publicity stunt, executed by Eli Roth, Marilyn Manson, and Lana Del Rey to get fans buzzing about the scene.

What do You Think?

Personally, I think this video is trying to glamorize rape; there is nothing artistic or beautiful about a woman being forced into sex. I do agree (to some extent) that this could also be a publicity stunt. If it was... it certainly worked.

  • This video is graphic because it shows a horrible act being perpetrated towards another human being. The only reason it is controversial is because that other human being happens to be a female.
Horrible acts are committed towards men daily, and often by females. These are not as commonly brought into light because female victim-hood has been hyper sensitized by our society. Rape culture is crap. Rape doesn't happen because of p*rn , media, short skirts, or power. It happens because some people are mentally fucked up.

"But sometimes normal men rape too.." This is the response I will normally hear.
This is when I respond with... NO. Innocent men often get accused of rape because of the broadened definition of rape that includes a girl drinking alcohol and saying yes, but "Not possibly capable of making her own decisions". This kind of crap destroys the lives of good men because some girl doesn't want to take responsibility for her own decisions.
RAPE IS as this video depicts. Violent forced and aggressive sexual penetration.

But this video is NOT real. It is no more real than someone killing in a movie, or robbing in a movie, or hurting children in a movie. It does not make people rape, any more than movie killings make a person a killer, or movies about child abuse make people abuse children.

If this movie were a video that told people to go and rape because women deserved it, then I would say you are right to be pissed off.
Oh... something in the lines of this.

A video which tells women that killing men is "Their SCUM Duty", based on the ideas of a well respected feminist Valerie Solanas. Who write the book about killing men and also tried to murder Andy Warhol to become famous. She was a psycho and yet her ideology is rejoiced as "art", not shamed for inciting women to kill men.

Let's stop trying to dig up every thing we can to perpetuate male hate. A reference to rape is NOT perpetuating it.

    • wow wtf. scum really. lol

    • Salute

    • I believe, The one male down vote is the same feminist female who uses a male account to troll on here. I thought I would point that out.

  • Looks like some people have too much time on their hands. I didn't find it shocking or glamorizing of anything. Just a bunch of pretentiousness taking itself way to seriously.

  • this video is all kinds of fcked up, i hope YouTube and the rest of the media worldwide puts it down hard and sues the guy who came up with it.

as an artist and animator i right now at this moment claim that this has absolutely no artistic value whatsoever and is extremely wrong in every way imaginable, this isn't art, its poison, and it needs to be burned.

its possible that its a publicity stunt, it could be that the director wanted to expose it without destroying his image, who knows what the motive is, but he deserves to die for it.

rape will never be an art, its a horrific traumatizing experience for anyone and is extremely difficult to recover from if you haven't already committed suicide or become an androphobe, and i can tell you from personal experience that its worse than anything you can imagine.

  • That rape scene with Lana Del Rey is not new. I don't see what the fuss is about considering she herself released it awhile back.

There are theatrical movies with much more graphic rape scenes that will make your skin crawl, but this particular video, it didn't incite an emotional response from me.

  • I find myself wanting to know how much you were paid to make this post? I didn't see anything graphic or brutal.

I have been raped and forced many times. It was not anywhere near a sweet and nice as this bit of "aren't we soooo bad and edgy" nonsense.

Publicity stunt. Mediocre nice lighting and some very nice slomo cgi.

    Get upset? No.

  • I didn't see any glamorization of rape in that video.

It looks like it points out how society trivializes rape, hence the balloons and footage of insects killing each other. It points out the animalistic and inhumane nature of rape.

  • should self defense be a mandatory lesson in school?

    • What you've learned goes out of the window when you're in shock and in a serious situation.

    • You can be trained to remain calm in a serious situation. That's what self defense does as well as other forms of martial arts
