This is for both man and women. do you get aroused from giving or reciving a massage? do you guys go for a massage at a parlour and do you get hard every time or is is more so when your gf/wife gives you one? do you also get hard when giving a girl a massage? Girls what about you, do you find them exciting? I'm just curious about what it is about massages that make people I suppose you can say in the mood or plan out horny?

It depends on the type of massage a little but I get hard no matter what. Like the one woman said, it's the physical contact no matter if I'm giving or receiving. I've had both an erotic/sensual massage and a professional one. The professional one not as much (different level of excitement) as I was just shirtless (underwear on and cover) and they are not as gentle with a professional one (they really work the muscles, she was also fully clothed obviously) but I still got hard, especially when I was over on my back and she was working on my front (and of course the closer she got to my genital area got the blood flowing lol. I've never had a massage from a male attendant (and probably never would). I probably wouldn't get hard then.

Here is what I think. A massage is a form of relieving stress. Stress could be anything and your body does not distinguish between stresses. Also, sex is also a form of relieving stress. So you can say a massage and sex are basically the same concept because they both feel good, they both help relieve stress and both are done passionately.

Also, having someone touching your bare skin and hitting all the right spots does the trick too ;D lol

I have gotten so many massages but have never gotten aroused.

My masseuse tells me that this isn't the case with some men and get aroused at a single touch, and she would be giving them their massage with a log sticking the towel up in the air.

I guess I would need a more sensual touch then just a normal massage to get aroused, the masseuse would also need to be scandalously dressed or in the nude.

I don't really get turned-on getting a professional massage, but giving or receiving one with a girlfriend, I do. It is because of the physical contact on bare skin and the fact one or both of us have some, most, of all of our clothes off. Also, with a girlfriend, there is the anticipation it will lead to sex.

I've never been to a massage parlour but I do get aroused most of the time during a massage, rather giving or receiving. I get more turned on giving a massage than getting one. Getting one is more relaxing but I get hard sometimes if its my girlfriend or someone I really like. But I almost always get hard when giving one. I went to an Asian massage parlour once, and a guy had scrawled on the message board: "Better than sex!"

And this was indeed true. Even if you're talking of a completely asexual (non-sexual) massage, the high you get after it is indeed "better than sex"!

Two things -- firstly, it clears your body of negative toxins and triggers off positive chemicals which make you feel good. Secondly, the touch of another human being is very soothing (for the above chemical reasons too)...

If it's a male giving me a massage, there's little chance of getting aroused, though there's the feel-good factor which comes simply from the chemistry of touch. If it's a female giving the massage (even non-sexual), obviously the element of arousal IS there...
