This may not be helpful coming from a guy but I'm just trying to help.
From what I've read it sounds exactly like the classic symptoms of a yeast infection. If you've used over the counter products for yeast infections perhaps they don't last long enough or aren't potent enough to get the infection under control? For what it's worth, I would keep the appointment even if the symptoms go away. If it's a recurring thing maybe they'd give you prescription anyway.
Are you using antibiotics or douching? They're known to really aggravate the problem.
Maybe this article will shed some light? It's from a great website.

did you do anything before the rash occurs such as masterbating, bathing or, eating certain foods?
does it happen a lot or once a month?
and taking medications for yeast infection (when its not) accually kills the good bacteria too so that maybe the problem0 0 0 0Since there is a change in hormones before and during your period this is when I would normally get the outbreak. Now it comes all of time :(. I do not masturbate or bathe (I shower). and my diet is all over the place so I cannot keep track if this is an allergic reaction to foods. The drs actually gave me the meds. for a yeast although they could diagnose me. When they didn't work they have me med for bacterial vaginosis (whcih also didn't work)

It could be a number of things, do you wear tight and/or polyester underwear? That can trap heat and sweat which irritates the skin and can lead to vaginitis. Do you use the nuva ring or does the rash come with tampon usage? Do you use sex toys or your hands in your nether region? Those all can cause irritation too. Laundry detergent? Body lotion/soap? Any type of chemical can aggravate sensitive skin.
Try going a few weeks using a hypoallergenic soap for your cloths and body and wearing cotton underwear, if your symptoms lessen, you can at least rule common irritants out.0 0 0 0Thank you. I will try your advice, I hope it works. Its so uncomfortable and I hate it. Ty for being the only person to actually try to help me. <3
Honestly, I don't know what is triggering my infection. I will pay more close attention see what it could possibly be.
