What do guys feel about taking a girl's virginity away?

I don't think a guy really feels good or bad about taking a girl's virginity. When I was a virgin (i. e. prior to being age 18 and one month), I had no shortage of guys who were more than willing to punch my V-card. I would say the first overt "offer" happened when I was 14, and it was from an older guy I had never even kissed. The same guy had taken another girl I know's virginity (yes, girls talk, too). By the time I was 15, willing guys were a dime a dozen. . . nice guys, jerks, nerds, jocks, virgins, non-virgins, Christians, Jews, Muslims, heathens, my age, 10 years older, 20 year's old (friend's stepdad made a pass at me when I was at her house) black, white, it didn't matter, if I had let them, they would have done it. Sure, the nice guys were nicer in their approach, and wouldn't try on the first date, but for sure, every guy of every type was more than willing to be my first. Guys don't have specific feelings about taking a girl's virginity, other than maybe feeling lucky that they were the first to get you to go all the way; they might be more into it (emotionally attached) if the girl is his steady girlfriend, but trust me, the first time you meet a guy, he will be happy to take it right then and there if you let him know it is available. Now that I'm several years past losing my virginity, I have discovered that guys are pretty-much the same way in their behavior towards me -- they are more than happy to be my #2, #5, #8, whatever the number happens to be. Guys just want to score; some guys, if they have a steady, won't try to score with someone else (and some will), but the unattached guys out there, I guarantee I could have sex with any of them if I simply let them know I'm a willing soul.

Some guys like taking a girl's virginity. It makes them feel special that she likes/trusts him enough to let him be her first time, some prefer to be the "first one there" and don't like the idea of a girl having had previous sexual partners, some think it feels better because they're "tighter".

But taking a girl's virginity isn't always a positive experience for a guy. My boyfriend, for example, lost his virginity to a girl who was also a virgin. He felt bad that it was painful for her, and the girl got mad at him because it wasn't the "perfect" situation she had imagined it to be in her head. They didn't try again for a really long time afterward and she seemed to hold it against him that it wasn't what she had expected.

Also, some guys prefer a girl with a bit of experience.

Why the hell would we feel bad? That's the last thing we would feel. Happy, excited, lucky, honored, thrilled. Any of those but not bad. If she's willing then there's nothing to feel bad about.

I do not know but what I do know is that its best to wait until you are ready, because if you don't wait then all the guy is doing is using you.

It can be messy, she can get nervous, stressed out, change her mind, etc freak out or she will turn into a leech afterward and you won't be able to get rid of her
