Honestly, a tampon doesn't really feel like anything once it's in you. Putting it in just sort of feels like a finger or something.
The string hangs like an inch down. It normally gets inbetween my lips or just rests on my underwear.
I tried wearing tampons when I got my period around 12, but I couldn't actually get it in which sucked because I was a dancer and went swimming/to the lake a lot, and even my sisters tried. I used pads until about 16 when I went on a beach trip with my boyfriend at the time and his family and I knew it was coming so I packed extra pads and different sized tampons. Once I got it (of course the morning of AND 15 minutes before leaving for the beach), I tried getting one up there and it actually worked. Now, I always wear them except at bed and whenever my period is too light.
With pads, I wear normal underwear (no thongs), but with tampons I'll wear anything that goes well with my bottoms... but usually thongs.
I don't feel my sex drive go up until I'm actually with my boyfriend in the moment... like if we have a super deep makeout then I will easily get more horny.

If you've put it in properly you can't feel it at all. The string doesn't hang down very far and you can just tuck it up in your lips haha
