What does a penis feel like?

I don't want to have sex yet but if I'd definitely like a description of what it feels like.

  • In your hands, it feels soft like your labia do.

Its basically a long lump of skin so it's about as hefty as breasts only firmer

( but not as firm as Men like to brag, however 'godlike' they may be ;r ).

Inside, it doesn't really feel like anything, ultimately.

You feel a little of the rubbing against your outer lips on entry and sometimes as the action increases friction.

Although every woman's body is different, primarily:

The physical feelings during hetero sex come from the stimulation leading up to the penetration that makes your inside nerves and tissue sensitive and then with continued stimulation, you feel reactions in your body but don't necessarily feel his member moving.

Everything is so wet and porous and we are not used to being aware of that area of our bodies so it's rare you feel anything inside and when you do, it's subtle and momentary. Different positions and relative male-female genital size can altar that fact but, not much -and again : there's either natural lubrication or artificial lube needed which coat and create less sensation of movement.

Add to that again that penile penetration is basically a pocket of skin meeting a lump of skin so : it is not the specific feeling of a penis inside that can be mind blowing- that's a romantic p*rnographic fantasy.

What really creates orgasmic feeling is slow and subtle, even for men, they're just overly brain washed to think that the ultimate goal is insertion and too often end there, robbing themselves of much more pleasure and higher intensity of it both pre-insertion, during and post.

Even in intense 'rough' p*rn scenes it's more about the energy and emotion (even if that emotion is misogyny or feminine domination) . As fast and hard as sex goes, it's still a subtle feeling physically, inside.

Timing and patience and rhythm as well as accepting that sexual intercourse is 'inter' 'course' meaning communicating back and forth with our bodies and so paying attention to what they are telling us and each other and when.

    Simply:

Penises are not as hard as carrots etc. *haha* . Hands 'get me off ' more.

If you really want to know , Find one of those 'water worms' or order a turkey neck from a local butcher. That's really pretty much what they feel like . Sorry to gross anyone out but it's true :D

    • sorry- they're called' water snakes' they're pool toys.

    • Wow I'm surprised and confused about the 2 downs. Your answer was perfect!

    • I agree- I wish people would respectfully explain when they 'down' a response to help the question-asker understand better, if for no other reason. I'm guessing it's this : Some people insist that they feel penises when they are inside but in my experience and that of people I've mostly encountered, it's a feeling you learn to recognize, it's not like feeling a dildo or hand. Some women even say that it can hurt sometimes.I've only ever felt cramping or aches after- not anything definite during.

  • Hmm, another down vote. Could it be the mere mention of the word 'misogynist'?

Here's a good link (all writing, no pic's )with an entry that expresses something similar to what I wrote

    link

an excerpt of the referenced post by poster I am not her) 'Squishie'

    Q:

"The vagina is an actually an erogenous zone that is most devoid of neurons in comparison to other areas. Meaning that even though it's supposed to be the center of all pleasure it actually isn't, at least physically. The area with the most neurons is your clitoris. That's why rubbing up against a chair feels so good. Women can have pleasure many ways..."

" This region is FULL of neurons so the stimulus can be quite suprising and pleasurable when entered very slowly and soothingly. Too quick and you get nothing but pain. Orgasm is achievable without touching any other region and can be more intense than any other type to some women..."

'So for those of you wanting to feel more in your vagina:

    1. Google "kegel excercises" and practice, practice, practice..."

  • it feels like a firmer version of the skin on your ear lobes and its kind of like a finger without a bone when its hard and more squishy

  • It's hard to describe it even though I feel mine all the time but I'll do my best.

When soft it's just loose squishy skin that hangs there. Like I said it's soft and squishy and it's stretchable and very bendable.

When it's hard it feels soft and hard at the same time. The outside is soft to the touch but if you squeeze it you can feel hardness under the soft skin. It's pretty hard on the inside so that it will stay straight (or bent for some guys) enough to push inside a vagina. It's full of blood so sometimes you can feel a heartbeat through it if you hold it tightly and it can twitch slightly like it will just bounce up and down once in awhile on it's own.

    • It can move on it's own? How?!

    • There are muscles at the base of the penis that can flex and when they do the penis will bounce up and down once with each flex. It only happens to me usually when I'm first starting to get hard or when I'm super turned on. I can actually do it on purpose if I really want but I never do. It always twitches multiple times when I orgasm.

    • I wonder why you got downs. So how much does it move exactly? Like a millimeter? But isn't it soft at the top part where the skin looks smoother?

  • eh, you're not missing much. A lot of girls are resorting to cucumbers and carrots as alternatives.

What Girls & Guys Said

  • I do not understand the question. What does sex feel like, or what do the parts feel like? please clarify.

    • Both, but only what does sex feel like for girls.

    • Most of the time we do not notice it. Like if we are working, or our heads are into something else, unless chafing or something. But...as soon as there is a visual stimulation, even without a hardon we get sexual desire feelings and feel like we need to or will need to release some pressure. It is a great feeling, but distracting if you need to have your brain on something else.

  • Get a dildo or a vibrator to find out. I'm sure they are very similar.

    • I said I want someone to describe it to me. I'm not ready to do those things.

    • Oh, okay then. Ummm... grab a pickle. Grip it. If you move your thumb or your hand up and down the pickle, you notice that it is not smooth; It is somewhat rough/bumpy. A penis also has bumps, and other patterns made by nerves, and other stuff. A big difference is that you can bend a penis (even if it is erect), but you can't do that to a pickle unless it's really old. A penis also smells better (from a girls point of view) than a pickle.

    • I think pickles smell good. Penises have a smell?

  • when hard and erect it feels like a soft tool that can penetrate any soft tunnel.

  • it feel like I got unlimited power in there

  • You know those squishy, thin rubber cylinder toys you used to get, that contained sparkily liquid .. The toy slid out of your hands and you had to keep grabbing it? Well giving a handjob feels like handling a firmer one of these that don't slip out your hand/s :)

    • ya, we called them 'water worms' the internet seems to mostly have them referenced by toy companies as 'water snakes'.

  • I touch mine all the time (masturbation) so here goes:

An erect penis feels sort of squishy on the outside and hard on the inside.

Also an erect penis is full of blood, so it feels pretty warm.

If you don't want to have sex yet but want to learn more about being comfortable around penises I would recommend you give some hand jobs first!

    • Hand jobs=sex ..to me I don't really care about being comfortable around them. I just wanted to know what they're like.

  • go grab a raw sausage :p
