What's worse HPV (genital warts) or HSV (herpes) in your opinion and why?

HPV is worse for women than it is for men because of our anatomy. Both virses are both bad but they are common and most people don't know they have both of these diseases. Herpes loves to head in the nervous system. HPV for women can cause cervical cancer. You can't die from herpes but you can die from HPV which can develop into cervical cancer. Now if you got the three shots for the HPV to prevent it I say you have 80% chance of not having it. But you would have to do your annual Pap smears. Are you willing to risk your health over someone who you might not be with forever and over 50% chance you will have that disease for the rest of you life.

Hpv cam turn into cervical cancer. Also you usually I've yo get the warts removed and there's a chance they'll return.
I feel like that's a lot worse than herpes but I don't know

For men Herpes would be worse, for women HPV cause it can cause ovarian cancer quick (happened to a female friend of mine).

Also men can be carriers of various strains of HPV and very few of them actually show symptoms. And in men it usually goes away on its own, destroyed by the immune system. A womans immune system can kill it also, the only problem is that the virus travels up and attaches to your uterus fast, this is how the cancer sets up.

The warts are worse. The herpes don't usually get that bad. I've never had them but I've read up on them once when I got an in grown hair and freaked out and went to the doctor

What makes you say that? So if someone told you they had hsv would you date them? Let's say you found them attractive and wanted to take them to dinner

I think the warts are harder to get rid of and spread a lot more whereas the herpes come and go like a cold sore. It's actually the same virus. If you go down on someone while you have a cold sore you can actually give them genital herpes. I wouldn't date someone who had it.

For men having Herpes is worse (depending on what type you have-
HSV-1 or HSV-2) than HPV genital warts.

I've had genital warts in the past. They were harmless (just itchy as hell) and went away on their own after a few months without treatment and haven't reappeared since.

I was diagnosed with HSV-1 two years ago and found out through a blood test when having an STI check-up. I don't know whether if it's oral or genital HSV-1 as I haven't had a single cold sore nor any outbreaks downstairs.

For women... I'd say that having HPV genital warts is worse as it can lead to cervical cancer depending on the strain.

Herpes is much worse. Warts generally clear up on their own and will go away. Herpes recurs.

Please research more. You have to get them surgically removed and they usually always reappear. I looked it up literally three days ago when my friend came over crying because he has warts

Unfortunately I'm under the same impress as @lyndsielee666 that warts are also for life... I'm unsure however hence the post. I just know the possible effects of warts is worse as herpes is just a skin condition
