Nothing wrong with masturbating...damn, if you don't yank your own crank here and there..you are not normal !
I mean seriously, your hand reaches it perfectly. If humans could lick or suck themselves off, I bet we would all do it. anyone that says they wouldn't is a godamned liar,lol.0 0 0 0Nothing, it's actually pretty natural. The Bible says nothing on the personal aspects of sex, including self gratifying sex.
0 0 0 0I'm not a Bible thumper, but the Bible actually does talk about sex and beating off...
I am and no it doesn't. People twist Onan's story from Genesis 38. Here is an interesting discussion on it: https://www.layhands.com/IsMasturbationASin.htm
Leviticus does, even though it also talks about a lot of other "donts" that don't really apply to today and Jesus was asked about lust, which I'm not sure if you can masturbate without lusting about someone or something. It's difficult because people pick and choose what they want from the Bible. What I've found is that there are very few topics that the Bible shies away from. I expected better from a Bible thumper MrWizard...

Absolutely nothing. Sexually and psychologically, masturbation is completely normal and healthy. If you mean in terms of religion, that's up for interpretation.
0 0 0 0Well some people believe religiously that its wrong (because you would be spilling your seed) but other than that I can't think of a reason its bad.
0 0 0 0This article has a good discussion on Onan and spilling his seed: https://www.layhands.com/IsMasturbationASin.htm They argue that Onan sin was in not fulfilling his brotherly duty under the law, not in spilling his seed (which was probably pulling out early, not even masturbating).

1 5is only bad to certain religious people who are often repressed
0 0 0 0As Christian psychologist Dr. James Dobson of Focus on the Family said, "It is my opinion that masturbation is not much of an issue with God." (Preparing for Adolescence, Dr. James Dobson, p.83)
Personally, I think it is a problem when it starts impacting your relationships with others, leads you to porn, or you start fantasizing about acts themselves that would be immoral.0 0 0 0I actually do agree with what you said here. But to say the Bible doesn't cover the topic of masturbation is kind of misleading. Do the words masturbation pop up? I don't know about that, but there are scriptures that would lead to the topic.
This is the best inclusive write up I've seen https://www.layhands.com/IsMasturbationASin.htm The closest thing most people point to for masturbation is Onan in Genesis 38 for "pulling out early". I agree with the above assessment that Onan got worked for not fulfilling his brotherly duty, not spilling his seed. If you have anything more specific or missing from the article above, I'd be interested to see it.
The thing that gets me about Christians is that you pick and choose what yall will believe out of the Bible. Matthew 5:28 Jesus says that even if you lust after a woman in your mind you've sinned. I haven't met one guy who hasn't been able to beat off without thinking about some woman. So wouldn't that fall under this category or is Jesus wrong? Ephesians 5:3 I believe talks about don't let even a hint of sexual immorality because it's improper. So what falls under that category?
Nothing.
0 0 0 0As with all things, it's not what you do but how you do it.
It's best not to completely abandon yourself to lustfulness, although if that's all you can do, then that's all you can do!0 0 0 0Nothing its good for u
