I love having my neck kissed it turns me on almost more then anything else. But at my age of 23 I think I'm a little too old to get hickeys on my neck it reminds me of a middle school thing. My ex a couple years ago loved giving them to me but I asked him not to leave them on my neck anymore for that reason. I guess if I saw someone with one I would kind of think they are trashy because I think they are almost trying to get people to see it to know they had action. I used to cover mine up with foundation and a scarf. Ya I agree with you I think that the guy should suck on a private place instead.
I don't think too much of them, or people who have/give them. Really now, do we need to walk around with a display or banner stating "I MADE OUT LAST NIGHT!" on your neck? I don't think so.
Yes, I do think it makes a person look trashy. Why? Because you have to announce to the world that you let someone crawl on you & suck your neck. And everyone will assume, as you probably want them to, that you did more then that. This, in my mind, equals trashy.

Im OK with it but, wen you suck It causes blood Vesals under the skin to break and blood comes out under the skin so it seems like it would hurt as for covering them up I had to helpna friend move her hair in front of it it was close to the sidenof her neck so ya I have no problem with them.
I don't like them to be in places that can be seen. If someone really wants their date to suck on them, they should do it in a place that won't be seen with normal clothing. so like, the thigh or breast or something.

Sometimes it just happens. I accidentally give my boyfriend hickeys all the time... It's really not something you should try to accomplish in my opinion though.
I've had a hickey for a week and a half before. I hate the way they look, and it does look trashy. If you're a girl there's always make up but sucks for guys! haha
i got one one time, I was laughing so hard I couldn't believe I'd gotten one because he tried so hard not to give me one.. I just covered it up with my hair and it faded within 3 days..
