Your logic is horrifically flawed. Let's look at the reversal of your entire argument: Just because you don't think you WILL get pregnant from pre-ejaculatory fluids doesn't mean that you CAN'T. During your "research" I hope you stumbled upon all of those stories of women whose partners came inside them but they didn't get pregnant and also those of women who did become pregnant only from pre-come. The fact that it has even the slightest possibility of happening means that it poses a genuine risk and should be treated as such during intercourse. The several small studies that you found are more than likely either statistically insignificant or else they would have been published on a much larger scale, or considered a joke amongst the medical community and that is why such nonsense has not been introduced to the mainstream public in regard to sexual education.
0 0 0 0I never said you couldn't get pregnant by precum, I said by itself, meaning without it coming in contact with sperm it cant. and really it isn't MY research, its scientifically proven. if they didn't get pregnant it was because there were no eggs present or one of them weren't fertile, making them extremely lucky. & you should consider taking a look at of the stories who used the pull out method correctly & didn't get pregnant from precum. and for the record it was published in well respected journals.
I understand the scientific explanation of how sperm might be present in pre-cum. However, my husband and I have been using the pull out method since I was 16 and his pre-cum has never made me pregnant. I'm 23 now. I think the failure rate is mainly due to guys pulling out late. Some guys ejaculate some fluid prematurely and don't realize it. I think that's a more reasonable explanation than leftover sperm in the urethra.
0 0 0 0I agree with you. If a guy has ejaculated recently, sperm can live inside the urethra for quite a while before dying off. In which case, any pre-cum will contain sperm. If a guy urinates after a prior ejaculation, but before intercourse, his pre-cum should contain little to no sperm.
However, I would not trust the pull-out method alone. There are too many variables that can go wrong, haha.1 0 0 0I like you a lot lol:) thanks for not bashing me like a bunch of other people did, I very much appreciate it. i wouldn't either, pull out method is not reliable at all.
Haha thanks! And you're welcome. I think a lot of these replies have been overreactions and just plain reading comprehension error, haha. I agree, especially when you still have the whole world of STDs to worry about as well.
can i get pregnant from precum outside my vagina or near my opening?

I don't risk it and wear condoms. I'm a heavy precummer so if there's ANY chance at all, I'm not doing it. And even though it's very unlikely, there is a chance precum can get you pregnant.
0 0 0 0The chances of getting pregnant from pre come is low, but still a very real possibility. This will be significantly lower if you use a condom.

4 2I didn't read past the first sentence because I can tell you right now that you're wrong, I have a friend who got pregnant off of precum. Just because a guy doesn't dump his whole load into you doesn't mean you can't get pregnant and some of his sperm can be in precum. They were having sex, he pulled out, that was it, a month later she was late, a few weeks later she had an abortion
0 1 2 1He probably didn't pull out in time and more than likely told her what she wanted to hear and what he wanted to believe. I KNOW there CAN be sperm in precum but it USUALLY isn't unless the guy came recently. precum and sperm aren't even made in the same place. precum is made in the cowpers gland and sperm is made in the seminal vessicles and there is strong tissue SEPARATING the 2 until he gets ready to bust.
Wow. Why would you even bother to post if you didn't read what the original poster wrote? She talked about the fact that there *can* be sperm in precum (but generally isn't unless he came recently), and that the withdrawal method isn't 100% effective. You pretty much just told her she was wrong, and then repeated everything she had already said.
THANK YOU! I'm just looking for opinions on the research that I found that has been proven and get the word out so teenage girls won't have to stress so much like I did.
You can get pregnant from precum. It has sperm in it just like come does. It doesn't have as much sperm, but it only takes one to get pregnant.
1 1 0 0You are absolutely right, you can, but doesn't mean you will, it depends on the circumstances.
That's true. I see your point.
My opinion? Tastes fine to me. Also helps lube things up.
0 1 0 0Why do you have a female profile?
0 0 1 3it depends. if its the first time having sex for the day there will most likely be 0 sperm. if its the second or third time there most likely was sperm left over in the urethra and it will be in the precum
