How old are you? If you are having all of the hormones that make you want to have sex, but haven't had a period, and you actually are over 18 it is probably time to go see a gyno. Plus, if you are even thinking about sex it is not a bad idea anyway. In fact, women are encouraged to start seeing a gyno before they actually start having sex. Also, if you are worried about what your parents might think, just let them know that you haven't started your period and it was suggested that you should talk to a gyno about that - after all that is a big part of what they do. Hope this helps!
0 0 0 0I would say that you are ready for sex when you know how to or have gotten yourself off at least once.
However, having your period is a critical part of puberty in a female. I'm talking common sense here. Like the other guy said, having a period means that your body is ready to bear children and thus you are ready for sex. They go hand-in-hand.
I would suggest not having sex at least until you've had your first period because if you do...something could go wrong or the sex could be extremely painful for you (beyond the norm).0 0 0 0You are physically ready when your body is telling you it needs sex. You feel horny, you get wet, you touch yourself and you want more. Yes you are ready. Have fun.

If you haven't had your period, you are either a very sickly 18-year-old, or lying about your age.
If its the former, see a doctor
If its the latter, you aren't ready for sex, no matter what you think, and even your body thinks so.
Never thought I'd see the day where kids are so bombarded by sexual imagery in the media that they think they're "ready" before they even reach puberty... And we wonder why there's so many threads with girls wishing they had their virginity back because they made a stupid mistake?2 0 0 2physically, as so and as you hit puberty. There is a reason you are thinking about boys all the time and having your period--the body is ready.
