Where did you learn to have sex?

"It's not the size of the boat but... how you use your dick." I never got this class offered to me at any point in life. Not even in sexual education! You would think you would learn how to have sex in sexual education, but no, it's not like other classes! In math you learn math, in science you learn how to create bombs, in literature studies you learn swear words from the 1700s but in sex ed you learn how to not have sex! What? Where did you learn how to have sex and be good at it?

  • I didn't necessarily learn technique, but I learned an openness toward sex from a combination of books that my mom had "left" lying around and the nightly radio show, Love Phones, that was on during my middle school and high school years. True, I first used those things as masturbation fodder, but eventually I ended up learning things.

I also learned a fair amount about the female (and male) anatomy that helped me understand what parts felt good. Between experience, logic, and communication (see: learned openness toward sex), that definitely helped me learn how to get better at it.

  • There should be an "All of the above" option for A-E lol...
I mean, how do you learn, practice.
had my first time in the school classroom, and then just kept it going with multiple people... the natural gift (dick) was already there, i just watched some porn, read some articles... put all that in the pot and stirred lol.

  • I learned about the birds and the nees through a dog book and followed up with my grandma's encyclopedia xD I kid you not. I went to Catholic school so no sex ED and we didn't have internet.

As for learning how to actually have sex... that was trial and error

  • First scene: my parents told me what it was
Second scene: sex ed at school plus porn
Third scene: Porn and learned with my boyfriend

  • My parents had a kids sex education book and taught me about it when I was around 5 or 6

    • My mom showed me a Playboy® Magazine!!!

  • I've never had a sex class either and you dont need one because its general knowledge, not rocket science.

Just move your waist front and back, work the angles, dont neglect her breasts, and suck on her clit as if beer comes out of it.

And most importantly, ask your partner what they like in bed.

  • My Dad's idea of sex ed was, a porno movie, unfortunately it was Animal Follies, that Swiss film of guys and gals doing animals, all I could think is WTH!! I learned from an older woman, then from there studied Gabrielle Moore's Naked U, and Two girls teach sex, since then I studied Tantra and Kama Sutra sex techniques.

  • I never learned it somewhere or from someone. Never had sex ed and things like that. It's just nature I guess.

  • I learnt by doing.

  • It comes pretty naturally. And trial and error... which can ve really really really fun.

  • I just kept experimenting and got lucky to have partners who were willing to experiment with me. My wife was my second lover and was surprised to find out I hadn't been with more women. We wound up learning from each other even though she had been with many guys before me.

  • I read books about the "how to"

  • I remember in our high school, we made our sex ed teacher quit
We weren't interested in learning about sex from an old-ass woman

I got all my info from porn

  • I learned it when I was in my pre-teens or early teens when I was opening my email on the internet and got all sorts of porn spam emails. That was before they created the "blacklisting". I really wish they had it back then. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't be as screwed up as I am now.

  • My dad explained the to me basics just before I had sex ed.

  • ojt like billions of other people

  • I picked up a few things from reading but really it turned out to be easy if you are sympathetic and pay attention to signals from women.

The most surprising thing for a guy is how much of a woman's enjoyment of sex depends on the psychological rather than the purely physical side of things. To put it simplistically you have to trigger all the instincts in her brain which tell her to make babies with you right now! That's when the reservations drop and she can really cut loose.

  • Grand Theft Auto

  • That's why sex ed. should be a two year course!

  • Internet forums and then later took a peek in porn (It has become boring)
