No guy wants to be called a freak by his girl simply because of a compulsion. The idea that the girl does it too means she's less likely to judge the guy when he does it. And there's a lot to be said of the regained sense of confidence that comes with that.

Well, yes, your right, however, I think it more likely that he was hoping (fantasizing) that she was going to go home horny and masturbate thinking about him. Most likely he was going to so the same thinking about her.
Masturbating is never a bad thing and not sure why guys like to ask that question, but they do. It's nothing to be embarassed about so be open and tell them yes you do.
My guess would be that girls who masturbate tend to be more sexual and know what they like. I don't see how that could be a bad thing.

It's because we guys are horny as all hell. We think it's hot when women touch themselves... It's not a bad thing, and no it's not just you.
Most (almost all) guys masturbate. So I guess they presume that women do it too...
And it is true most of us do. Many just have hard time admitting it in public when actually there is no shame in doing it. It's nature taking it's course and natural.
Correct me if wrong, but I think guys of the same age, masturbate much, much more than girls. Firstly, guys peak sexually far earlier (in their late teens, as compared to women who do so in their 30s and 40s). Secondly, for a guy, there's a chemical overload, or a liquid buildup that just needs to escape every X number of days. In the case of girls, I think only those who are higher-sexed would come close to masturbating as much as boys do in their late teens and early 20s.
