Alot of guys are obviously very emotional when it comes to their penises. Guys tend to feel a very strong "sense of self" when it comes to their penis. They feel that how people see their penis is how they are seen as an overall man. When your penis doesn't "measure up" so to speak, they feel like they don't measure up as a man. Guys will see their penis as the epicenter of their masculinity, status, and sexual desireability. It's a symbol of power, strength, and everything that is "man". Many, many men feel this way about their penis. Despite the guilt and not wanting to talk about it, many women feel this way too.
I agree with you that it is not fair to be criticized for wanting guys that have a larger penis. It's nothing personal. You are not deliberately trying to hurt anyone's feelings. But this is how a lot of guys feel about the situation and why they react the way they do.
LOL obviously because those particular men don't measure up - they fall short of your expectations. Not all guys lacking get mad, doesn't bothwr me in the least. Men who are very huge down there need not worry of course. No woman ever has nor ever would complain about a man'a penis being too big. The very notion she would is totally absurd.
its funny you say you like guys bigger than 7 inches because I know you date mostly white guys and there is a stereotype of white guys having small d***s but I find that isn't true. I've seen and danced with white guys who have had big d***s. I think white guys d***s are bigger than what people give them credit for.
when did I ever say I date mostly white men? I said I get hit on more by white and Asian men. I don't discriminate as far as dating wise goes. The reason for that criticism would be because that statement is rather ignorant and close minded. Black girls can't help being black and to rule them out as individuals on a superficial basis is offending. Same idea.

It is what it is, I wouldn't hold it against someone, but girls complain a lot about guys only wanting girls with large breasts and toned butts and stuff. I don't see what the difference is. End of the day everyone has preferences

I think what you are seeing is a result of the internet, where everyone is made to believe that their penis is small (thanks to p*rn) but is told that their penis is above average (5 inch average? huh? who is honestly below that?)

also, I think a big problem men have with this sort of talk is that it is just that: talk. If a girl walked up to me and described what she thought was the perfect d***, and my d*** happened to match that description perfectly, I would still have almost no chance of having sex with her. What do I say "oh, you just described my d***!" How convenient! Is she supposed to believe that and drop to her knees on the spot? Not likely. I would still have to go through the same normal courting procedures.
It seems you're assuming that all women are the same size vaginally. I don't believe that. I've known women, in person, who can accept a 12 inch penis ( not mine ). And I've known women who bottom out at 6 inches. Are these women really the same size? I suspect women have some sort of bell curve just like men do in relation to their size. Are there race variations like there are in men? Probably.
They must feel emasculated by not reaching a woman's size preference. But I don't know for sure because I'm not that small.
I think if guys said they wanted only girls with D boobs or bigger the girls would have similar issues...

I think there is a difference going the other way. Having more, generally, gives you more options and you don't see your self as less. Financially, I'm in the 1%. What if a woman didn't want to a man who was wealthy for whatever reasons? Is a guy going to feel bad? Probably not. Now, what if a woman wanted to date a rich man? Is a poor guy going to feel bad? There's probably a better chance of that.
And he is still with you despite that not being his preference, where you would not be with him if he didn't meet yours. Hence, the difference...
I've never gotten mad at a woman for saying she had a size preference, be it penis size or bank account size. It's just the way things are and if you don't meet it, then it is easier to just move on along.
One thing I don't like is girls who say they like a guy above 7" and when an 8" one shows up she complains it is too long or thick for her liking...make up your bloody mind.
i prefer 7 and up and I wouldn't mind 8. I think it depends on certain positions of course. some are more comfortable than others but she can make it work if he is a larger guy
Its not the preference, necessarily. I have preferences, of course, but I wouldn't discount anyone who doesn't meet them. Its when you dismiss someone because of that small part of themselves, where it gets to be an issue. Make sense?

not to defend women or anything but I guess the media has inflated our(guys) egos by giving that illusion that size matters. so we think that when women expect us to be big and all, we take that as an insult. not to be rude or anything, but from my experience; most of the chicks that expect guys to be big are always trouble making chicks

jealousy and self esteem issues...? I have my preference on the size of a girl so they can have a preference on the size of the guy. I guess I'm lucky enough to not have that be an issue for me or any girl friends
