Okay I guess I get balls because they're a little spherical but they're more like ovals so why not call them ovals? Also I've never seen a pair of gonads that actually resembles real nuts. Shape of earth in normal day to day talk and also for showcase purposes is referred to as spherical when in reality it's more of oblate ellipsoid or oblate spherical. We do this because it's easier to remember and refer to our everyday objects.

Also we refer boob sizes in terms of type of fruit, we do this because a stupid man can understand it. Same with our testicles, stupid man can understand that if hit there , you will crack open with pain and agony!!
