Why does he say my name when we have sex?

OK so I have a bit of a friends with benefits situation with this guy. We don't hook up that often, only have about 5 times since the end of last year. Basically it's just "hot fun" or whatever you want to call it. The last 2 times we've been together he f***s me slow sometimes in a real intimate way and even will say my name like "Ohhh, jenny" (that's not my name but you get the point). It caught me by surprise cause it just seems like a very personal thing to do and not something you'd say to just a "f*** buddy". Is it just me that would feel that way? Why does he do that?

I think you're reading more into this than there really is because you want to more than just friends with benefits. But I honestly don' think it's anything more. It just happens to be what he was in the mood for. Or maybe he's wants someone in his life and he's just fantasying the situation with you.

I think if he really did want something more, he would stop having sex with you altogether and act differently around you.

Hahah well.. it is personal but the name thing made it feel a bit TOO personal, like we were in love or something. Cause he was saying "you're so beautiful" and my name. It's nice, but just surprised me and has me thinking maybe he has feelings for me. Cause I'm scared of getting too involved, with the whole him living 4 hours away situation. I guess he just enjoys the more passionate type sex.

Guys will form an emotional bond with you its is also possible for a guy to want a relationship, same with you will feel an emotinal bond with him even if you don't want to you need to deal with it and him saying your name makes it worse or harder for you. Tell him not to do it...keep it professional or fun

It's amazing how you think saying someones name is more personal than actually having sex with someone. I mean be glad he's saying your name instead of his ex girls name or his current girls name. Or even worse your sister or mothers name.

It was the way he said it in the situation we were in so don't judge me. It's not that I didn't think it was really sweet I'm just trying to understand why he did it because no one has ever done that. I wouldn't think saying my name would make it feel so much more intimate but it did.
