She's crazy.

The problem isn't so much of peer pressure. The challenge is your own body telling a woman to either sit on a man's stick or mate with a plunger. The older you get without experiencing pleasure, the tougher it gets to resist your primal urge. In addition, she has certainly met a number of tall, handsome hot athletic men in her life who have met her expectations in a man but afraid of pregnancy, distractions and what have you.

I do not know how women come up with this ideology, but American women as a whole seem to believe that once they get involved with a man, they can kiss their personal goals goodbye. Some one out there is teaching young women that men are pigs, will control them by keeping them in the kitchen and the bed, get pregnant and lose their identity and dreams. The counter action to this is to never date, think of men as devils and NEVER EVER EVER have sex. Ever.

Leads to problems. Lots of problems. The results are the gender wars we are having now.

In my opinion, it's because physical struggles are much harder to manage than emotional ones.

The emotional side is much more tricky than the physical. Guys put a lot of pressure on girls to have sex. It takes a lot of strength to say no to a guy that you love, especially because there is a part of you that wants to give in and sleep with him. It's an internal battle that a girl has to deal with constantly.

Training for the Olympics is a lot less complicated.

did she really say that? wow that's very personal. She probably said that because of all the peer pressure she must experience and the difficulty to resist temptation and probably to inspire other girls to stay virgins

If she's trying to inspire girls, that's a bad thing. Less sex in the world leads to global chaos in one form or another. Disbelieving? Think of all the shootings in America alone. I bet if half those fools doing the crime had girlfriends, much of this would never happen
