1. Many girls don't have a hymen anymore because most girls have been active these days in their childhood. It's also not really something you break, more tear up a bit. It's a little thickening of the skin in the vagina, not a brick wall.
2. It's almost impossible to be too tight and it's not like you 'stretch out'. Tightness can be caused by the muscles near the vagina being tensed because sometimes your body isn't used to stuffing things in your vagina and so some girls subconsciously tense the muscles. Being completely aroused and taking it slowly should take care of that.
3. This is a good cause some girls have, but often if you're aroused enough it's not that much of a problem. A bit of lube wouldn't hurt.

Loosing you virginity shouldn't hurt if the guy is a bit careful. If it hurts it can actually cause mental and physical damage and could make the sex next time make it hurt as well.

I went with hymen but in fact it can be a mixture of all of it. Losing your virginity when you are young means that you are losing it to a boy who really just wants to have sex and knows nothing about foreplay which means you are wet enough from the beginning and then you add the other to and it just makes everything worse.

All three play a role, but inadequate lubrication and arousal is probably the most significant issue. No matter how turned on and lubricated you are, the first time can still be uncomfortable. But with enough foreplay and lube, it shouldn't be too horribly painful.

Yes, and it needs to be stretchen out slowly not to make it hurt too much and rip the hymen up real bad. It might still get ripped if you do it slow but it will be lesser painful or maybe she won't feel it at all. Some people might say go in quick to get it over with but I think slowly and little pain for a longer time is better than a lot pain for a short time. Imagine you having to punch the edge of a table with your fist. You can hit it one time really hard to get it over with, or you can hit it ten times getting just a little pain each time. Don't know if it's the same thing with virginity but I think it's pretty much the same. (correct me if I'm wrong)

a hymen breaking can hurt. certainly tightness factors in. the vagina is a muscle so the first time you have sex you are stretching it in a way for most it hasn't been stretched. and then a lot of times people on their first time won't do enough foreplay or just aren't lubricated enough which can always make penetration painful no matter how experienced or inexperienced you are

For me it's tightness 100%. I have a broken hymen and I still had issues for quite a while because I'm just really small. I figured out there is a science to getting myself to stretch out enough, but it takes patience and slow moving on the guy's part.

Hahaha good job guys XD Also yeah theoretically it shouldn't. I can't actually talk though because I've never experienced it myself. Just thought I'd comment on the hymen thing because I swear everyone thinks that the hymen is like a flap of skin that covers the whole thing and is broken during sex when really it's just a bits of excess skin around the outsideish around the opening that can be torn during anything strenuous down there. Apparently though it you have a lot of foreplay, lube and patience then it shouldn't hurt much at all really.

None of what you mentioned causes pain... lack of arousal, and over eager partner causes pain.
NO girl regardless of size should feel pain losing their virginity.
With proper arousal the sexually mature vagina will expand and lubricate to allow any human sized penis to fit without issue.
The hymen is almost never an issue with girls these days. Unless you are completely dormant and do not do any active sports or movements.

There can be pain because the hymen is still present and is either stretched or torn, there can be discomfort because it's not used to that level of sensation, there can be discomfort because it's challenging for the muscles to relax enough to accomodate a penis.

THere can also be little discomfort.
