Personally I think I do the same with my partner. Sorry you just mentioned being on top so I could only speculate... You could just be reading into it way too much, half the time my partner will tell me I did things I can't even remember doing. If a guy really wanted to think of other girls he would have his eyes firmly shut or just do doggy style since he could do it comfortably without the fear of being caught doing it.
