It's tough being a woman in your 20s, especially when in comes to the infamous battle with pubic hair. Oh, how I envy those women with little hair, who are unaware of this ghastly "shaving rash" and "ingrown hairs." I, for one, am not so fortunate. No, i was born hairy. My pubic hair is visible outside most bikini bottoms, grows down the sides and even, sparsely, down my crack. (News flash, most women have hairy butts. If your women shaves it, consider yourself lucky.)
My whole life has been a struggle. Shaving gives me ingrown hairs and razor burn that lasts weeks. I am so not doing that, sorry. Hair removal cream? Ditto. Waxing gives me ingrowns as well, and hurts like no one's buisess. Lazer hair removal? I'm in University- do you think i have that much money (or confidence?) Basically, i am a hairy girl who struggles, very much, to remove my pubes. And this has ALWAYS been really embarrassing, and a huge concern of mine. Because now it's attractive to go bare down there. That's what most guys apparently want. Well sorry, boys, i am putting down my foot (and razor) and i am saying NO!
We have hair down there for a reason. God knows i have no idea what the reason actually is, but who am i to question the creation of the human body? Everyone has it, deal with it. It's natural, it's normal, it's staying.
Is it really that unnatractive? Honestly. Compared to ingrown hairs, pimples, bumps, rashes and stubble, and some hair? I'd pick the hair any day. Not all of us ladies (and gents) are lucky enough to go smooth and bare no worries, a lot of us actually end up looking a lot worse than we did to start.
It's a pain in the ass (pun indended). It hurts. It takes a long time. It itches. It costs money. It grows back instantly. I have spent countless hours on the interent googling ways to get rid of shaving rash, how to remove hair for sensitive skin- you name it, it's in my history. Surely i have better things to do with my time than obsess over what a man is going to think when he see's my hairy vagina?!
Do i really want a man who cares? Call me a hopeless romantic, but i want a guy who doesn't care if i'm hairy! And surely, when my soulmate saunters into my life, he really won't care less? And at the end of the day, if he DOES care, then he clearly isn't that great of a guy, and i dont want him in my life (or anywhere near my lady bits.)
I am a WOMAN! I will not be dictated by society, or what men find attractive. I will do with my pubes whatever i want. And i am leaving them be. Sure, i'll get out the scissors and trim down a bit, but the rest is staying. I'm sorry if you can see them when i'm in a bikini. I'm sorry if when we're in bed, your turned off by my hairy crack and inside my thighs. If you can remove the hair, adn WANT to, then LUCKY YOU! Go for it!
But i am done, and i encourage women like me to embrace the hair too!

I believe the shaving-trend is starting to slow down.
2 weeks ago, on holiday in Croatia, I saw some girls/women with pubes popping out of their bikinis. For me, that was a better turn-on than anything.
I even told my girlfriend about this when we were there (she has her bikini line trimmed and keeps the rest on about 1 or 1.5 cm).
But it was clear she has her doubts about the hair being visible in bikini...
Anyway, nature has put it there fore some reasons. And it's very attractive.

I hate that a lot of women shave it all off these days. Natural is so hot!!
I personally find it seriously unattactive to have a pussy with hair. You have to clear your mind about one fact: if u shave yourself do it for you and not for the others. It is just so much more beautiful to see. If i would see a hairy pussy the first thing that would cross my mind would be: "disgusting, so unhygenic." Think about it ;)
You have to realise that when just "leave your pubes be" you just look neglected and no guy is going to think: "ow, she might just have some problems with shaving". No, they are going to think that if you leave your pubes be there probably some more hygene related things you leave be. And you can apologize all you want but your hairy groin is going to stay unatractive.
End of the story is if you want to find the best man out there you have to do an effort to try and be the best girl out there. Ok, you can't shave, no big deal, but that doesn't mean you just 'have to leave it be', do some effort, get yourself some clippers and trim that bush down to the lowest setting, if you can't shave go for the next best thing. And if there are guys who don't like that then they can go f*ck themselves because you did the best you could.
Ow yeah, news flash: if you are not going to do what men find attractive you're just going to be unatractive and men are going to go for other girls.
haha this made me laugh, how unbelievably shallow. So to be the 'best girl out there' she needs to make a decision about her own personal hair preferences that she doesn't want to make, just to be "attractive" to men? What about the women before razors were invented? Did no men ever find them attractive? I dont know about everyone else, but if i'm going to have sex with a guy, its being to be because i love him and he loves me for who i am, not how much pubic hair i have. I went year without shaving or anything and in that year i met my current boyfriend, who is literally the MOST amazing guy in the world- and yes, he is extremely attractive and could have pretty much any woman he wants, and guess what, he still found me attractive and sexy. He really did not care because he loves ME. I guess you'll never be one of those men.

I for one absolutely love the kind of public hair you described! The hairier the better.
It's fine if you don't want to shave but don't shame people who have a preference for people that do. It is no more shallow than girls who want guys taller than them (you actually have a choice over your hair where guys don't have any choice in their height). It's not more shallow than any other physical preference people have. I'm not gonna think less of someone who doesn't shave I just won't date them. If you judge someone for that then you really shouldn't have physical preferences at all because hair is one of the least shallow since it's easily the most controllable of any physical preference.
I'm hairy as well, it's literally everywhere, breasts, butt, stomach, back EVERYWHERE! haha. But! My boyfriend doesn't care and said he won't mind if I don't remove any of my hair. But for my own comfort and I shave my breasts. My back hairs are really light so you can barely notice them. I get you on the sensitive skin stuff. It's annoying haha. ***FOR ANYBODY JUDGING THIS MYTAKE, YOU ARE IGNORANT IF YOU THINK WOMEN HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO HAIR AND ARE SMOOTH, MOST OF SHAVE ALL OF OUR BODY PARTS***

By that logic you should also stop taking showers because who are you to question the creation of the human body? Everyone has (BO) deal with it, its natural its normal its saying.
