Why are some girls scared to moan?

For some reason I just can't moan for my man and I don't know if like its a turn off or a disappointment.

I used to be shy about moaning. I think part of it stemmed from the fact that when I was younger and I masturbated, I had to be quiet so that no one could hear me. When I became sexually active as a teenager, I had to be quiet as well, since usually there was someone in the other room who might hear us. When I was older and had more privacy, it didn't feel like it came naturally because I was so used to suppressing my moans, and I worried that if I moaned, it might come out sounding weird. But I started doing it anyway. I wasn't faking it---just putting some "voice" to the sighs and heavy breathing that was already there. The more I did it, the more comfortable it was to do so. I also found that when I was louder in bed, I was able to enjoy myself more because I wasn't "holding back".

Perhaps you are too shy to moan. Next time he is doing you from behind, ask him to scratch your back as if you have an itch. This way you can moan and have a reason to do it,
