Vaginal infections can become maddeningly uncomfortable within a matter of hours, so it's a good idea to see a doctor as soon as you notice something unusual. Don't wait until you know it's serious. Trust me, I've been there and it has cost me many tears and sleepless nights.
You could have a yeast infection, a bacterial infection, or an STD- or your skin might just be irritated from hair removal, soap, friction, or a new product. But you won't know until you see a doctor.
For now, wash with plain water, dry yourself thoroughly, wear breathable cotton clothing, and avoid tight bottoms. And seriously, go to a doctor if this isn't relieved by something as simple as a shower.1 0 0 0Your ph balance is messed up. I used a different type of tampon a few months back and it happened to me. I was so dry when I tried to have sex and it itched so badly. But when I went to the doctor the test said it was a yeast infection. I was discharging anything or smell. It's just your phone balance. You could be given antibiotic and it would help. Some creams like monistat it will burn but it's a relief from the itching. It can turn into a yeast infection if you don't do something for it.
0 0 0 0It could be irritation from the wipes and the rushed sex. It could be a yeast infection. Heck it could even be irritation from shaving or sharp hair growing in.
I agree with the idea of going to the gynecologist if it's still bothering you next week.0 0 0 0But doesn't yeast infection include swelling and extra discharge? I haven't had any of that. Though the shaving could be a thing to consider. I don't have any hair growing inside my vagina but I am wondering if my shaving cream could have done something up there...
Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. They're really sneaky. It could also be a bacterial issue.
Hmm, good point. I am on Accutane as well, which used to cause yeast infection frequently, but my dermitologist said that it's been adjusted since my parents' time so now the amount of yeast infections from it are greatly reduced.

If Vagisil got you fixed up last time, then I would say it's an infection of some sort.
But there are women who get itchy because of some lubes and even because of cum.
Or you could have irritated it when having dry sex. If you have a small tear or cut inside, it would be itchy when healing.0 0 0 0did you change condom brands or start any new medications
0 0 0 0I don't use condoms and I did change my birth control, but that was a month before the itching.
Ok I thought it might be a alergy

8 1Yeast infection. There are over the counter creams in the feminine hygiene aisle at your local pharmacy that will take care of it. Not unusual at all.
0 0 0 0Do you wipe front to back or back to front?
0 0 0 0You know that is a good question and I've never really paid attention to the answer. I think I do back to front.
Could be a uti then. When u wipe back to front, you're bringing forward a lot of bacteria to your vaginal area. This is what usually causes uti's. And, it u had any open sores (due to have dry sex), then that can make things worse because it traps the bacteria. I would see a gyno.
You might have a uti
0 0 0 0What is a uti?
Urinary tract infection.
There are a various number of reasons why it could be itching from simply being dehydrated to having some sort of infection. Have your doctor check it out the next time you're in for a check up.
1 0 0 0It could be an infection, one time I had a uti and felt kinda like that, although I think if it's in your vagina bv or a yeast infection is more likely
