It'll probably still hurt for a couple more times yet. Just make sure that EVERY time you do it you're mentally, physically and emotionally prepared (in other words, anal really is about the receivers comfort. If you don't feel like it that time, don't do it). You can never have too much lubricant and make sure it's either a water based or silicone based lube as it lasts longer and (if you're using condoms-which I recommend) will not degrade the condom.
Take deep breaths, relax, bare down (i.e. push like you would on the toilet) when it feels uncomfortable (which will help to open the two anal sphincters) and always do it bit by bit. Even when you're a seasoned professional at anal sex you still need to take it slowly to prevent pain and/or damage. So in an inch, out an inch, in an additional inch, out all the way and so on until he's all the way in. He must always stop when you say to and sometimes it's useful to just sit for a while with him in you so the muscles relax further around his penis before any thrusting starts. Also, try not to do it TOO frequently as that will increase the risk of damage to the muscles though you might want to invest in a smallish butt plug/dildo just to get you more warmed up and used to the sensations.0 2 0 0If you do not do anal correctly it will hurt every time. For me to do anal we use a butt plug that I put in my butt before anal to allow the muscles to stretch out, we do vaginal sex with the plug in place for 20-30 minutes, then put more lube in my butt and on his cock. For starting I find that it slides in easiest with doggy and if it is tight, get him to stop, and your muscles will loosen up. With anal you shouldn't do rough sex like with vaginal sex as it is a sensitive hole.

Using a tongue, finger or a toy to start off with I've heard can make it looser
A lot of lube and going slow is necessary
I've heard that you can do anal in the cowgirl position so you can control the thrusting which may make it easier for you
Condom is still necessary as it's easier to pass infection through anal than vaginal sex if your both not tested and clean0 0 0 0Just go nice and slow and use LOTS of lube. You'll get there, but if you push too much too soon, it'll take longer.

5 3It won't hurt at all if you are completely relaxed. You're anal tissue is as tough as your skin. The only thing that hurts is when you're tensed up, you're sphincter (I know this is gross but it's true) closes up and if the guy advances (because he doesn't know what he's doing) it will hurt. If you are relaxed it will just feel weird.
Make sure you are completely relaxed before anything happens and trust your partner.0 1 0 1I doubt it is ever very pleasurable. Never understood the appeal but whatever I am a prune when it comes to that.

LOLOLOL prude my bad.
Second time it didn't hurt as much for us because we used a lot more lube and he fingered me for a while longer. Wasn't exactly comfortable still.
