Well this is strange. Takes get promoted if they're beneficial to the GAG community and I don't feel this is, but okay. @nert73 got it right. Women know all of this and we hate it at any time.
My advice, wear tampons or get the implant, they stopped altogether for me. :)

  I did that once and nothing happened. It is a myth. You have to have blood on the outside of your body. Like a fresh cut from something.

Personally it's a bad time any time for me because i'm really struggling with my hormones lately... it's driving me nuts and something isn't quiet right, but before that happened i was super grouchy all the time... short tempered, snappy and it effects my sleep and well... just effects everything really. I just had it and i wanted to go to B&Ms to get some stuff, tried for 2 days to get up earlier but it's not happening... and i have been sleeping 10 hours for the past few days... and it makes me go to bed at like 7am so... even if i need the docs i can't get up in time TO phone them while they are open.. . lol. It's hard enough to get one too so id have to get a super early one this having not much sleep... like... 2 hours lol.

For me, it was when I was performing in a ballet show, my first major part, bright white tutu, so beautiful, so I come of stage, the director said, you need a new tutu, hurry... show must go on.

I hated getting it during sports. I was a soccer goalie and high school. Diving around was not the best while on a period when you're cramping and only have pads because you forgot to pack tampons.

I hate having my period on Summer. I can't go to beach or wearing skirts and shorts and there's also another problem but people don't need to know the details...
I also hate having it when I'm celebrating something, like for example on New Year's Eve.
When my sister got married I was so terrified that my period would come. Fortunately, I could enjoy the party without period. It would ruin my day...

I can handle all of them. However, I would absolutely cry if it came on my wedding day.
I was at an Assyrian party wearing a beautiful, hot, gorgeous, sexy dress. It was super tight. My period was early and I was dancing. I wasn't expecting it to come that day when a lady came up to me, whispered in my ear telling me that there is blood behind me.

I calmly went to the bathroom. My face was sooo red that I am thankful for the ton of makeup I was wearing otherwise it would have showed.

I cleaned it off in the bathroom. It was so humilating. Assyrian women are very cut-throat so they were bound to talk about me. Bitches.
