Yes she is very insecure about it and shaves all the time. I have like peach fuzz that isn't even noticeable and my significant other doesn't care. He's very hairy himself :P Hair everywhere. I don't mind in the slightest. I actually love hairy guys. And yes the area above and around. I've never talked to him about it, he just does it and that's how he likes to keep it, and that's how I like it :P I can't imagine shaving such a sensitive area like the balls are... I mean a vagina is kind of difficult to reach sometimes, but at least it's not as sensitive.. I'd never make someone shave there.

At first I was like "whoa hair" but I never felt embarrassed or ashamed of him. And he thinks it's perfectly normal (as do I) so he hasn't been insecure of it. I don't see why it would be an issue, but I guess if someone really hates hair and gets grossed out by it... can't really control your bodily reaction, ya know? I just don't have that problem. I don't think back shoulders look weird when hairy. I think body hair is perfectly natural and normal looking. In fact, I find it weird when guys shave all of their body hair off.

I've always thought it was more common than not for women to have thigh, back, and upper arm hair. Not all women have chest hair, but it isn't uncommon. I've never had to worry because I have really light blonde body hair and it's not noticeable at all. My friend had dark hair and it was literally a 40 minute project shaving all of her body parts (including arm, back, thigh, chest). With that said, opinion owner, please try not to sound so condescending. Your tone doesn't do you any favors.
