I say good for them to sticking to what they believe in. if someone doesn't believe in it, thats fine too... but staying true to yourself is a challenge of its own. can only imagine it gets harder the more attractive and famous you are.

    • Waiting for marriage does make sense. The only problem being that. maybe they won't get married ever and then will either die a cirgin or regret their decision to wait when they were young and lose it when they are close to or in the middle age range. But it does make sense because some people value the idea of finding a lifelong partner and being married is a sacred thing to many. Now, I agree that as a virgin myself, I don't really give much of a fuck about getting married because I focus more on other things, but at the same time I can totally see how it would make sense to wait until marriage. People (and I'm not saying you unless the shoe fits anyway) but people act like waiting to get married is a sin or something. When in actuality its the other way around so... yeah.

But again, when I said "it doesn't make sense" I meant to ME it doesn't make much sense. I don't know when I'll have sex, and hopefully it'll be with my future husband, but waiting until my wedding night to do it, makes no sense to ME. I see no merit or value in that. But I do know that some people think that's a big deal, as in almost critical. If you're one of those, cool. I'm not. ✌

    • Jessica Simpson had two children with her current husband before they were married. I find it hard to believe that someone who was a strong supporter of remaining abstinent until marriage would be fine with that. It was probably a gimmick just like the Jonas Brothers with their purity rings.
