Why be with one attractive person when you can have two attractive people at the same time? It's like you go into the store and you can't pick which item you want so you take both. Or you already have an item but you want to still keep it when you buy a new one. For example, your favorite colors are blue and green so you decide to own a blue towel and a green towel. You clearly can't make up your mind.
3. It's all about the fun of hiding secrets.
A cheater hides secrets from their partner. Some people love hiding secrets because they like all the attention they get when people try to figure the secrets out. Hell, I even like it when people try to figure something out about me. It's entertaining to know the other person barely has a clue. It's a really fun game!
4. Cheating is a way to deal with the problems you have in your main relationship.
You may be unhappy in a relationship because there is something that went missing or your partner isn't treating you right. There could be negative feelings such as stress and you have a hard time resolving them with your partner because you don't have good communication skills and/or there is weak compatiability. You may not be getting enough sex and/or love so you feel lonely. So you receive the love and/or sex from someone else because you can't come up with something better to do and you don't want to leave your partner.
5. If you're a woman, your primitive brain will be satisfied if you have sex with the best looking man you can find.
Women are generally most fertile at approximately fourteen days after their periods. During that time, they are generally less horny with their long-term partner and will be more physically attracted to men who look better/healthier than their long-term partner. This is called the dual mating strategy. This strategy will create healthier and more attractive kids.
6. If you're a man, your primitive brain will be satisfied if you impregnate as many women as possible.
It's an evolutionary phenomenon how men want to plant their seed in any woman in order to pass on their genes into the next generation. The woman you are currently with could've cheated on you with a better looking man so you don't know for sure if the children you have together are really yours. Paternity tests didn't exist during evolution so your primitive brain has no way of truly knowing who is actually your child.
7. It's a way to get out of a relationship if you aren't an assertive person.
You don't love your partner and you can't explicitly tell your partner that it's over. So a passive aggressive person, like you, gives hints and is implicit about what his/her intentions are.
8. You know your partner cheated on you.
Why not get revenge? Give them a taste of their own medicine.
9. Your excuses for cheating are debatable.
You want to blame it on your partner, your sexuality, your personality, your IQ, your testosterone level, circumstance, or your desirability. All these excuses are generally considered 'open to question' so there really is no right or wrong answer. Is there? People would either disagree or agree.
10. You're sadistic and you would like to see your partner suffer.
Cheating will make your partner suffer. It will also haunt them in the next relationship cause they'll have trust issues because of you.
I was just listing the reasons why cheaters cheat. I don't plan to cheat in the future. I don't think you should either. The drawbacks of cheating do outweigh all the benefits of cheating. I have no experience in relationships so this is everything I could come up with. But why cheat though? Just leave and/or stay single... #SeeMyWork #Cheating #PleaseDontHateMe
