I just find them fascinating, and would like to teach on some famous (and non) serial killers.
I'd give you a warning of topics such as rape and murder etc, but what else would you expect reading this?
1. Ed Gein

After his mother died (whom he had a severe attachment to), he began to desecrate graves. He dug up bodies, practicing necrophilia and taking home the pieces. As far as we know he only killed two women, but kept trophies of them along with the bodies he stole. He created a belt made of nipples, an apron, gloves and pants made of skin, a face mask, tongue necklace, a skull bowl and many more. He was pleaded insane at trial, and eventually was convicted of murder. He was in and out of different psych wards until he died of a cardiovascular disease at the age of 77.
2. Tsutomu Miyazaki: The Human Dracula

A collector of child pornography, he would kidnap and photograph little girls naked and then defile them before murdering them. He would also take photos of them after death, writing letters to the families describing their children's deaths. He was known to sometimes drink the blood of his victims, and eating a girls hand in one case. Killing 4 girls, he was determined to have DID (multiple personality disorder) along with schizophrenia. Considered legally insane, he was sentenced to death at the age of 45.
3. Ted Bundy

Very famous, he was known to have killed 36 women, but possibly more than 100. After killing each woman he would revisit their grave sites and rape the bodies. He fell in love in college, but devastated when he broke up all of his victims resembled that girl; attractive students with long, black hair. He was considered to be very attractive and charming which gave him ease of access when it came to gaining victims. Usually, he raped the victims before he would beat them to death. He was sentenced to death at 42, being electrocuted in Florida.
4. Ahmad Suradji: The Sorcerer

He killed for 11 years, murdering at least 42 girls and women. His name "The Sorcerer" was given to him because he proclaimed to be magical. People (mainly women) would come to him asking for spells or rituals to help in luck, wealth, sexual adventures or the loyalty of their husbands. He would charge them hundreds of dollars, then bury them to their waist in a sugar plantation by his house-they believed it to be apart of the ritual. Proceeding to strangle them with a cord, he would drink their saliva once they died and undress them to rebury them with their heads facing his home. He believed it would give him more power. He told police he had a dream his father told him to kill 70 women and drink their saliva in order to become a mystic healer. He was killed by firing squad at 59.
5. Countess Elizabeth Bathory

She was known to kill and torture servants and peasants but because of her families wealth and popularity, she was untouchable. She tortured girls such as pushing pins under their nails, or covering them in honey making them lay out to be attacked by flies and bees. Elizabeth would bite pieces of flesh off of them and one poor girl was forced to cook and eat a chunk of her own skin. Through popular belief she would "bath in blood" of young girls in order to stay young and beautiful. Once she started to kidnap more noble girls, her and her assistants were convicted of at least 80 murders. All involved on trial were put to death but because of her high-ranking title, she was confined to a room in a castle with nothing but slits for food and air. She died after 3 years, she was 54.
Now this is only part 1, I will be posting more on serial killers eventually.
