A Man Going Shirtless is Considered Half Naked (at least, to my friends)?

I was out with some of my (girl) friends & they were so appalled at the "half naked (shirtless) man" running at the park. They made such a big deal out of it. I thought the whole thing was funny. I probably wouldn't have even noticed him if they didn't make such a big deal about it.

How my friends looked when they saw the "half naked" man

They're like, "Oh, he's half naked! Oh! Terrible!" Lol.
