Girls, A Question for Pregnant Ladies or Mums. When you gave birth, Did you have a hairy vagina?

During my pregnancy with my Darling Daughter my midwife randomly asked me If I was hairy and shaven? I said I was hairy because I didn't feel comfortable with having a shaved vagina, she then asked if she could give me a vaginal exam, I humbly agree and as she examined my vagina she goes "You dont have a lot of sexual activity do you" she goes into her and pulls out a dildo. I pulled my pants up and said I think you should go.

it got me thinking is there any other mums or mums to be prefer to be hairy?

It's been scientifically proven that having hair before, during and after a pregnancy is cleaner and prevents more infections than without.
Women used to be routinely shaved before giving birth until they did a study proving post birth infection were more prevalent without hair than with.

Forget the question about hair; Are you sure that happened with the midwife? If what you’re saying is correct then that has to be reported to the authorities irrespective of how long ago it was

Did they take any action? I certainly hope so - women like that should not be in a situation where they can but judgmental on your personal life or try to be intimate with you. I hope she was sacked!

With the birth of both my children I was partly shaved by hospital staff before giving birth. Imagine it will be same for this next one.

It was given to me by a group of friends who I use to go skinny dipping with when we were teens and of the girls I was the only one with a full bush at that time. I did get enough teasing to give shaving and going bald for a short while, but soon realized that is a lot of BS work for something so trivial and quickly let it grow back.

A dildo? Really? Normally, they shave the area for you. I would be offended if someone came at me with a dildo. That’s inappropriate.

I shaved when I was pregnant, but I also miscarried at a little over 2 months. I don’t recall my thoughts at the time.

Probably a rare hereditary blood disease, but they’re not 100% sure.
