Aftercare for male soreness after rough activity?

So me and my Husband are very sexually active and don't usually have any issues with him experiencing pain.

But! We've had a 48hr marathon with a lot of extremely rough sessions over the past few days in which no accidents happened, but he is swollen and has swelling in the center of his shaft and on the glans (maybe in part because he was edging with PIV and maybe partially because I had a LOT of orgasms lengthy orgasms which he told me he got a good squeezing and may have restricted his blood flow a bit )

I've given him ice packs, anti inflammatory pills and told him he might have to have a break until his erection isn't painful anymore. But he doesn't want to take a break lol

Is there anything else we can do to speed up his healing process? Or anything gentler we could do that won't cause further injury/slow down healing? I'm worried that if he keeps going he's going to over exhert himself and end up in even more pain.

P. s

If it helps, I'm feeling pretty bruised on my cervical wall and have had some blood too. So could that depth impact be responsible for the glans bruising?

    • No we did! Of course. We had some power naps here and there, like an hour or two and ordered food. But we've never done a session this long before. It's been a while since either of us have had time off to spend like this, so we both got a bit over excited lol

  • Apply some ice.

    • We did! I gave him ice packs throughout the day yesterday and some anti inflammatory pills. He's feeling a lot better today!

    • Nice, heating pads can help too.

    • We have time off atm and we did have some power naps. It's not a regular thing, this is the first time this has happened lol!
