For some people this is a life choice whether male or female they simply enjoy sex and they enjoy the idea of people enjoying their body and in these cases then yes of course the statement would absolutely ring true.

Then there are other circumstances where whether male or female a person may have a partner who they simply consider eye candy they simply enjoy the body of the other person but they don't have necessarily an emotional attachment to them at times the person who is considered the eye candy maybe aware that there is no emotional attachment if they're alright with this then I suppose to each their own it's when they get into these sad loops that they're hoping that the other person will come around and become emotionally attached that problems arise.

There may also be circumstances that get even stickier when one person is considered the eye candy and the other person simply has them around because they enjoy their body and they're pretending to have an emotional attachment to this individual who they considered eye candy an arm trophy but under no circumstances do they actually plan on committing and settling down with the attractive individual. I think this is probably not as common but it does happen. It's unfortunate but these eye candies are used as the doormat.

Regardless under the circumstances where a person may be actually used and in not such a nice way as in their emotions are being played they have to wise up it's not an easy task sometimes they need friends to advise them so that they can break away from it'll hurt but it's for the best.

Now in the first circumstances where both individuals are having fun and they're aware of the terms of the relationship and neither mind well that's all right.

@WhiteBoyChill I usually highly condemn that kind of behavior (for both genders) but beyond that, I don't really care. I think those people who sleep around should be shamed and criticized more often, I don't know why that is so tolerated.

Yes, that's absolutely true. But it's also true that this can only happen when the girl lets that be the case.

Girls are the gatekeepers of sex. They choose who they have sex with (setting aside rape), and they choose what circumstances (with regards to relationships) they have sex in. The fact that MOST women do not allow themselves to be used as sex toys by men is proof enough of this.

But some women DO let themselves be used as sex toys by men. There are different motivations for this, but it's always because she chooses to allow it. She has the right to make that choice, of course - it's her life to live - but that choice comes at a pretty high price, and you can't avoid the consequences that come along with your choices. The world rarely fails to collect its debts.

They may only WANT to be treated as a sex toy (though I imagine that's usually temporary) and they may GET treated that way (regardless of their desire), but that doesn't mean it's the purpose of their existence, or that they have no other aspects to them.
