All oral and no piv?

So I'm casually dating a man in his 40s since June that's been separated since Jan. He tells me I'm his first woman since his marriage ended and things started very slowly because of that which is fine. He seems in a good place about the failed marriage (he left her after trying everything) and if he's stuck on anything it seems to be around his children and only seeing them half time. We've gotten intimate in the last couple months but it seems to be all oral or manual sex and no intercourse. He's great at it.. which is very nice but I usually see that as a warm up to the real deal. When i please him he always is fully hard so it's not ED. He has had a vasectomy so it's not pregnancy risk. We've talked about it and he says he wants it too but it doesn't go that way once we are in bed. I've tried straddling him and telling him how much I want it and he says that sexy, chuckles and says I'll get it but he just wants to taste me right then and it never really gets back there. Why might this be a thing and how could I help move things forward?

  • Six months? Weird. seems like a bit of a red flag. I'm surprised you are still with him. You'll have to discuss this with him. Are you SURE he's had a vasectomy? Maybe he lied about that and he's avoiding PIV because he's afraid of impregnating you. Or maybe he's a closeted gay and PIV is not appealing and he can't sustain an erection.

    If PIV is important to you, it's time to get this resolved. Either get what you want or end this so you can find a more satisfying relationship.
