  • This is easily disproved with a single example.

A male colleague of mine has sex exclusively with other men and in recent years only with his boyfriend. He identifies as gay and as part of LGBT.

This colleague is not transsexual, transgendered or lesbian at the same time. So these do not mean the same thing. He always identified as a man and there is no question about this identity.

    • Yes but “gay” is kinda all encompassing. Yeah trans is a wild card. But I’m talking marketing the gay agenda. The comprehensive fckin term is actually: LGGBDTTTIQQAAPP. This is being weaponized against regular peeps just wanting to live free. But their parents kicked them out cuz their priest told them to.

  • let's call it all queer and move on? how bout it?

    • I mean, in my opinion a simplistic terminology would solve a lot of their problems.

    • it's all gay in my opinion. i guess we agree again. it's been awhile

    • I mean…yeah in Hegelian terminology, we could have made “gay” an umbrella term. But I get why these marginalized people want to ne recognized. But I just want them to know the cost.

  • Lol no. You not understanding the difference between terms doesn't make the terms bad. There's always gonna be nuance and evolution in language. With a group of terms about one particular subject matter, there's always going to be overlap. Consider all the different words that describe emotions, parts of the body, vehicles, etc.

Same with LGBTQ+. If I say a man who likes men, you know what I mean. That's one thing "gay" can refer to. It can also be used as an umbrella term, synonym for "homosexual," but that doesn't make it the same word as homosexual, because homosexual can't be used to mean just homosexual men, but gay can be used to mean that (co. "cows" can be a synonym for "cattle," but "cattle" can't be a synonym for "cows" as distinct from bulls). And "lesbian" can't refer to men at all, but it can refer to women who like women, which is also something both gay and homosexual can refer to (co. "chair" can refer to only some of the things that "furniture" can). Etc.

Each has its specific meaning, even though there is overlap. You just may have trouble if you're not familiar with the terms or the subject matter. Makes sense?

  • No it doesn’t the trans thing is weird so is the Q part, like I’m not going to call someone frog (look up frog self wolf self dog self etc that shit is weird I love wolves I can make the wolves at point defense and woodland park zoo to howl, I went camping with my friends and howled while 3 of the 6 friends where on a hike the 3 thought they heard an actual wolf and warned us there were wolves in the area turns out I was the howl they heard) that doesn’t make me a wolf. I grew up with a neighborhood full of girls, so I played with Barbies. I play Ken as a World War II veteran.. I’m not a girl.

The LGB part i don’t care do what you want in your own home idc if your a women who likes to have sex with other women go for it idc if your a guy who wants to have sex with guys idc if you are Bi and want to have sex with both men and women idc when it comes to trans that where o draw a line just say your gay or lesbian and be done with it. There no need for the T part of LGBTQ

Intersex is a genetic condition I feel sorry for them this is the one area where ok you can pick which gender you want to identify with and be done with it

    • you sound strangely more sympathetic than usual :)

    • Well thank, what the trans movement actually does is boil men and women to stereotypes. There are a lot of girls who like boy things like shooting guns playing sports or video games. We normally call these girls Tom boys. Sasha banks loved watching Eddie Guerrero. If she was a kid today she would be transitions into a boy especially if she’s in California New York Washington and Oregon. When all she was, was a little girl who liked to watch WWF wrestling and made a career out of it. A lot of the time these are normal kids but especially in the fourth states I mentioned, which are really the 4 states that are causing the divisions in the United States they would have grown up to led normal lives. Had careers children without going through a procedure that’s irreversible and 40-60% of people who go through this end up regretting it and killing themselves. I don’t want people to kill themselves. This is why I have issues with the trans crap it’s ridiculous. It’s unreasonable and it ultimately causes harm to those to go through the transition. You get very very rare cases like Caitlyn Jenner but more most people they end up killing themselves.

  • No. Since sexuality is different

    • You can be bi, but still not be overtly sexual about it

    • So that means a whole new label is needed? Just being a marketer…

    • Yeah

  • They are not the same thing at all. Only the first three letters actually match together, the T doesn't match at all with the rest.

LGB is all about who you want to fuck.
