  • I would post this on a Christian site/Catholic site. I have heard the following: Masturbating alone when your married. Definitely a sin. Boys wasting their seed lusting after fantasy women. That is a sin. Girls, before their married, if threir thoughts were about pleasing their future husbands, I would think that would be a minor tresspass or maybe a threat, not worthy of damnation.

    • i don't think that's true. I can no way remember the spot, but there is one place where jesus is asked to define sin. he says it's particularly when you break some type of covenant (like if you commit adultery) with someone or harm somebody else in some way. It's basically the same thing that the 10 commandments say, as well. other than that, the only way that masturbating would be considered a "sin" is if you, like, signed a contract with someone saying you wouldn't masturbate... which is kind of a preposterous notion, if you think about it. in that same time i'm remembering, jesus went on to caution people about making unnecessary laws or contracts, because that actually just creates more sin for no good reason. i apologize i can't remember the reference for what i'm saying, but i think you get the idea. also, i gotta say, i don't remember a particular time when jesus defines hell at all. so it's kind of better to focus on something else. nothing to worry about as far as this question. If you wanna masturbate, it's prolly gonna have way more benefits than harms.
