Just leaving my opinion but if you're new to this it's either one of two things
either you just want to have sex with a lot of guys because you enjoy in which case go ahead but too much so you won't ruin your life, maybe get a friends with benefits or a fuck buddy or something but not too many guys
but if you're just looking to have some temporary feelings or anything of that sort because you don't feel loved or feeling left out or insecure, well I just gotta tell you it won't work out all the time
sometimes you might find a guy that gives you amazing feelings and makes you happy about it
and other times you might get someone who won't make you feel so great about it
say, you may find a guy doing only what he likes with you or an abusive guy
take me for an example, I'm a rough and dominant guy and I like to degrade my girl and make her my submissive in the most possible way, if you get a guy like this and believe me if you're not his girl friend he'll rough you out more than you think and force you in the moment to be his submissive and if you don't enjoy that kind of things it may leave you hurt badly, you'll truly be his slave bitch and you might not enjoy that much
not all of us dominant guys have standards, it may actually be the other way around
if you haven't yet got into any of this and you're insecure about yourself, it's not worth going through all of this instead just work on yourself and you will do much better

I don't see that being promiscuous is necessarily bad because at the end of the day it's a personal decision with no harm done when done safely.

I've had more casual sex compared to serious relationships in my life... does that make me a bad person... NO! Do I enjoy having casual sex... YES!

You're able to have fun, become more sexually experienced with different partners, find out what you like etc.
