Apocalyptic reproduction?

I was listening to a podcast and randomly they started talking about end of the world reproduction. It came down to if it was only you and an immediate relative left of the opposite sex. Would you be willing to repopulate or would you let the world end? I'm generally interested in seeing where people stand in this.

Lol anyways I would not because that means my kids have to have sex with each other too which I would not want and its all just a gross idea. But if I did do it, my kids might not want to do it and I fucked my family for nothing!

First of all, no. Gross lol
Second of all even 100 people isn't enough genetic diversity to repopulate the planet. Everyone would end up inbred and with a bunch of medical issues that would cause us to die off anyway, but in a slower, sadder, more painful way.

It really would depend on resources available.

If we are surviving on limited resources and they are all that's available, repopulation is not a high priority. If there is a surplus available to support the increase in people then it would probably happen
