I think it's in your surrounding... I don't know any girls that (say that they) have been with more than 5 guys personally, and most (say they) have been with three at most, all or most of them boyfriends... And I believe them... They're all adults like me and have no reason to lie about it.

It depends on the person though and what they want sex to be used for. A lot of relationships have healthy sexual routines. And there are those people who have sex before knowing someone and being in a relationship that risk just being used for sex.
I wouldn't feel any special if my boyfriend had slept with many girls. I would feel not special, because how can sth be special if it was done casual? There is no way, the only thing that would be special would be the person he does it with but not the physical connection themself. The intimate connection would be meaningless.
That's something you aren't able to control. If a guy wants to sleep around he will, so will women. They both have casual sex. It's just a common thing.
