Are boobs only consider nudity if the nipples aren't covered?

since I was a kid I always wondered why women's boobs are considered nudity while men's chest are not.

anyways, I always noticed that the woman's nipples are the parts that get the most censoring. even on PG types of shows or beauty commercials for example, those that aim at enlargment of boobs; they cover up the nipple but left the rest expose so the audience can see the results and nobody goes crazy.

lets not forget that there are obviously wardrobes out there that always show cleavages.

so I was wondering are boobs not considered nudity just as long as the nipples are covered?

It's kinda stupid, isn't it? I don't understand the reasoning when it comes to censorship.

I understand that there are prudish people. And there are crass men who lack self control. These people make it uncomfortable for women to bare their nipples or even go braless. I have zero respect such people.

I think women should be able to dress the way they want without being harassed.

Yeah its kinda weird if the whole breast is showing except the nipple it not nudity. It's probably cause the the nipple on a woman is a sexual part that gets hard when a woman is turn on and is why it's considered nudity.

It's because tits are just lumps of fat.. the thing that makes them unique is the nipple..
But I always hide my tits under sweaters or t shirts because I have big ones and I think it is slutty to have them on for display for anyone except for the ones I want to see them.

I don't think they are a sexual organ therefore I don't think it is nudity if a girl is topless. I think one day it will be common at pools and beaches.

I think it's crazy that people still think that it's okay for men to bare chest in public while it's not okay for women to do so, either both can do it or both can't do it, fair is fair.
